Maybe this is old news to some but I just found out so thought I would share.

If you're going to Target to get something specific, see if you can order it on the website and choose Pick up in Store.

I needed a Sofia dress for Maya yesterday. To save time I found it on the website and ordered to pick up in store. It was $16 with tax. When I got to the store and checked it on the shelf to make sure I liked it, it was $20. So I saved myself about $5 just by reserving it online first.

They will price match even if you don't choose pick up in store, but you have to go to customer service.

It's crazy how often their website prices are better- I always end up picking out registry gifts online and having to ask them to price match so it will stay in the price range I had decided on.

Wow, I didn't know they would price match online prices! I wonder if you can still use in-store coupons and cartwheel on that online price? Do you know @watercolor5?

Along these lines, the other day I made a $180 purchase (was $250 before my coupons/discounts so I was really into the savings) and forgot to use Cartwheel. Went to customer service the next day...and my total Cartwheel savings was $0.80:) I thought it would be so much more and was really embarrassed that they thought I drove across town for 80 cents!

One more reason to love Target! I did my part yesterday to support them -- $200+ later, I escaped.

Ha, I was thinking another reason to side eye Target. Raising their prices to put it on sale, and now I have to price shop against their own website.
