we decided on a nursery theme!!

We don't yet know what we're having but we wanted something neutral that could be decorated either for a boy or girl with bits of pink or blue and still look nice. Also we plan on having more babies in the future so we wanted something that would work for them too so we wouldn't have to rebuy each time a baby comes.
So after searching and searching we found one we love! BUMBLEBEES!
I'm so excited to get it all put together (:

    Married my best friend 7/2/11 - Furbaby born 7/9/11 and brought into our home 9/1/11

    BFP#1:   2/2/13 ~ exact m/c date unknown but around 3/20 at 10 weeks ~ diagnosed with PMP ~ D&C on 4/5 ~ TTA for at least 1 year due to PMP ~ cleared to TTC 1/14

    BFP#2:   2/7/14 ~ m/c 2/20/14 ~ possibly due to chemical pregnancy ~ TG no D&C is needed 

    Surprise BFP#3:  4/4/14 ~ super duper extra happy (and nervous) about this one - EDD 12/9/14!!!

    John Joseph was born on 12/12/14 at 7 lbs. 11 oz.  He is the most beautiful rainbow baby we could have wished for!

    Love the idea!! I've toyed with the bee idea a bit but we decided to go to never land with our nursery. Can't wait to see some update pictures!!

    That sounds cute! I am doing a Little Lamb theme for either Boy or Girl. Light pinks and white if its a girl and light blue and white if its a boy.

    Yay! We are doing ladybugs! My husband calls our baby his little ladybug ( he is getting the baby girl he always wanted) but I absolutely love the bumblebee idea too!

    I'm doing a bee and Winnie the Pooh nursery regardless of what we're having. I have a room already painted a sky blue, and I just need fluffy cloud decals!

    So I'm on the boring neutral gray and white theme. I want to go nautical with it I think... Or at least whales. You guys think that could work for a girl too, since we don't know what we are having?

    ETA: I'm not into pastels, so once we find out if it's a boy or girl, we will add in bold pinks, purples, teals, lime green, as appropriate.

    Sounds adorable.  I decided on owls a while back.  It's sort of sad, but I saw an owl night light in a baby store the other day and cried.  As someone mentioned earlier Etsy had some cute bumblebee baby stuff so be sure to check it out.

    I love your neutral theme of a bumblebee! 
    I'm going with a peter pan theme myself, but in neutral soft blues/lavenders and white. I'm an artist so I'm painting a canvas mural of the Jolly Roger flying in the clouds with pixie dust falling off of it. If it's a girl, I can just add more pixie and mermaid stuff to the room. And if it's a boy, I'll add more lost boys, pirates, and Indian stuff. I already bought the wall stickers off of etsy that has the Disney version of peter pan and kid's silhouette flying off to Neverland, with the words "first star on the right and straight on til morning" I'm planning on sticking it where the crib will be. I'll be sure to post pics when it's finished. We're just now starting to look at cribs and furniture sets :)

    We're going with a world travel theme, boy or girl. I found a framed world map print that says "The World Awaits" on it. The mobile over the crib will be globes and I'm going to put up photos of our world travels on the wall. I'm travel obsessed :)
