Avent Natural Drinking Cup

Thank you to whoever it was that posted about this cup in a recent thread. It is the prefect compromise between an open cup and a sippy! I'd love to have DD2 off a sippy soon, but she still likes to play with her cup and dump it, drop it, etc. This cup contains the liquid, yet gives her "open cup" practice. So, thanks!

Re: Avent Natural Drinking Cup

  • The cups we have won't let water out unless the top is depressed no matter the angle. The only spillage we have occurs when drinking since she sometimes doesn't swallow as fast as she needs to.

That may have been me. Glad the cups are working out for you. We love them. Although my kids have figured out how to turn the cups upside down and press on the top to make a huge puddle on their tray, most of the time they drink from the cups without incident and I suspect that the transition to a real cup will be much easier since we used these.

  • M spilled all the water out of this in the time it took for me to hand it to her in her high chair, walk into the kitchen and get her dinner, and return.  I think we are going to just have to let her spill an open cup until she gets over that desire.
