I Guess I Go Here Now

Hey everyone. I'm an Aug 13 mommy of an adorable 10 month old boy. I've been separated from MH for 2 months. I'll try to keep this short. Since I got pregnant, he changed. He worked 6 days a week 60 hours a week for 2 years then he just up and quit. My part time job wasn't enough to pay bills so we moved in with my parents. We finally moved out when DS was 2 months. Within a week of getting our own place, he quit that job. We've bounced around from house to house all while he talked down to me and yelled at me any time I tried to talk about money or me getting a job.

I finally left after he screamed at me in front of DS. I live with my parents. I just recently got my first full time job and I'm making it without his help. He has a job now but he pays nothing and only sees DS when it's convenient. I've decided to see a lawyer as soon as I have the money. I get my first paycheck today so I'm pretty excited.

Fun stuff about me: I love horror movies and Stephen King. I have a cosmetology license, but I actually don't enjoy doing hair. I'm still mourning the end of Breaking Bad. I'm a big Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings nerd. And I have an addiction to boneless wings, specifically Zaxbys.

    @Ladyoriza ive been busy with school and im sorry your going through seperation and divorce welcome to single parents. These ladies have been there for me through so much and i know they will do the same for you.

    Btw ladyoriza is totes cool, were on the august13 bmb together. Shes wonderful and shes going to fit in really well in our little group

    Hi! Welcome. I'm going through a divorce too with a 3 1/2 year old and almost 2 year old. We have a few similarities specifically a husband who changed after the kids and became verbally emotionally and financially abusive. I now have a permanent restraining order. It has been hard and will be hard but like you I am now looking for a full time job to support my family. Good luck!

    I actually love The Walking Dead in theory. But every time I watch it I get terrible nightmares so I just can't do it. :/

    Understandable. I can't watch stuff about tornadoes without nightmares.

    I'm new-ish (because I can only make it on the boards every now and then) but...I LOVE TWD!! :)
