Magenta's Stitch Fix box

Okay , finally got around to having DH take pics for me. Here is what I got in my Stitch Fix box.

The first thing I saw was the earrings. I flipping love them.

The blue tulip print blouse- cute, but I couldn't get it over my boobs. Whomp whomp.

White studded shirt- yes, I know I need a tank under it, but I actually don't own a plain white tank. This is something I probably never would've tried on in a store, but I think it's really cute.

Skinny jeans- give me minor muffin top, but my ass looks fantastic. I'm confident that they'll fit better next month, as I'm doing well at the gym.

Grey dolman top- best thing in the box. It is even more comfortable than it looks, and it looks pretty darn comfy. It's also super soft.

I decided to keep everything, because I actually save more keeping the blue blouse and saving the 25% for buying everything. I'm sure I can find it a good home with someone who can get their boobs into it. I was really pleased considering I have no actual style, so my survey was all over the place.

I bought those sandals almost four years ago and they hadn't seen the light of day until this summer. I found them and it was like buried treasure. :)
  • Adorable!! Can I ask how much boxes typically cost?
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

I requested the lower end on the cost scale. This box totaled $290, but after deducting the styling fee and the 25% for buying everything, it came to $202.50.
  • Welp, I'm sold!

I set it up for every other month, just because I don't want to drop a bunch of money on new clothes every month. I mean, I'd love to, but we're trying to save money, so...
  • Very cute! I feel like I want to try this sometime! Maybe it can be a reward for myself when I reach one of my weight loss goals :)

  • @magentawarped‌ yeah I was thinking of doing the same. wasn't sure if you thought it was worth the extra money but that's a lot to swing every month.

That's exactly why I'm doing it. I lost weight and now I want cute clothes!

The prices are definitely reasonable for the quality you get. It's more than I would normally spend, but I normally have a crappy wardrobe. ;)
  • Cute! I've filled out the survey but haven't signed up yet.
  • Yay! Glad you liked all your stuff! I'm hooked!!
I hope to create a real siggy but first I need some sleep!

    Mom to Lily and Colin!

    Do it! Peer pressure...

Also, to anyone signing up, I highly recommend making a Pinterest board with your style likes in it. I think you could also link Instagram. My stylist actually mentioned that she checked it out, so they do want to see what look you're trying for.
  • What is this? I'm out of the loop...how does it work?

Basically, it's an online personal stylist service. You go online and fill out a style survey, and pay a $20 fee. They send you a mystery box with five clothing items that they think you would like. You can keep whatever you like and send the rest back, just pay for what you keep. Your $20 fee is applied to whatever you purchase. If you keep everything, you get a 25% discount. You can set up recurring shipments, or just do a one shot if you want.

I looked it up. Yeah it only goes up to size 14. I was 16 before baby & now I'm a falling off me 18 but the 16's still don't fit..

Won't work for me (and I need help) whomp whomp.

Yeah, I wish their sizes went higher. I only just got down to a 14, hence the jeans-induced muffin top. I'm sorry it's not something you could use.
