I also went to Culver's to get cheese curds because of you bishes. I don't regret a minute of it but today has been a terrible day. I don't think I've eaten a single healthy thing all day.

@agsgrrl - I am in Oregon. There's a restaurant in Pdx that has midwestern food. That's where I was tonight. Also I absolutely drive out to the Cheese factory a few times a year to fulfill my craving. It's sad.

Can I say how much I miss Culver's. The first thing I do when I land in Wisconsin is drive to Culver's for some delish frozen custard and curds. It's probably good I only get there about once a year.
Ok...my stomach flipped a little looking at that and it wasn't in a good way. Maybe it is good I am GF since it prevents me from eating a lot if fast food (or the many of the other foods mentioned on the board). I will just stick to plain unadulterated cheddar cheese.

Also I have never tried poutine.
We stopped overnight in Toronto on our way back from upstate NY and the one thing I needed from the St Lawrence Market was Poutine. It did not disappoint.
So who is up for a road trip to Canada!?! I didn't know what poutine was but looked it up after reading all of your posts. Now I am ready to go get some!
I did see there are some good carts in the city with cheese curds...May have to try that instead.

Me too but have celiac and a dairy allergy both weren't discovered until later in life so I miss cheese curds. I grew up eating all the fried crap and now I can't have it and of course I crave it while pregnant.
I think that is why I haven't gained 10 lbs yet. I kinda crave it but them my stomach remembers it gets unhappy. I have had a couple orders of fries...probably shouldn't but they were do good.
I just ordered beer battered cheese curds. I need to stop but I can't! Also: is it reasonable to order a fruit bouquet just because I've been craving them?

@Duckie419 - Poutine is a French-Canadian dish... French fries covered in gravy and cheese curds. Sounded gross to me at first but once I tried it...Om nom nom!
Yes, I'd be lying if I didn't just cringe a little bit haha

I haven't been yet, but all the talk of cheese curds is making me very curious.
