So, rather than be a post hog...I am just gonna post my random questions. Thanks so much for your help!
1. Can you recommend a good tasting vitamin that LO really likes? (esp. organic)
2. Is there a no tear shampoo that is really not at all irritating to eyes that you found?
3. If you haven't been strict about not mouthing toys etc., are you starting to enforce no non-food in mouth or are you still just treating as a developmental stage?
1 No. A hates everything but so far they all are pretty bad
2. No. But not a huge problem for us sincw she is bald and requires little shampoo.
3. I only enforce no gross, dirty or dangerous things for the most part. Last night we had to stop her from eating rocks and dirt. Chewing on large plastic cooking spoons I don't mind. She will grow out of it on her own. She has cut down somewhat already.
1) We haven't started vitamins yet but I was wondering when we should the other day.
2) We also have used burt's bees since day one and she seems completely fine with it and I love the way it smells. We have used both the original and calming.
3) As of now she still puts everything in her mouth but we stop her from putting garbage , pens etc like PP have stated.
Thanks guys, I asked about the mouthing thing, becasue I let LO chew on his toys but we had a play date where the other mom didn't allow her 15 month to put toys in her mouth, and I was wondering if I was derelict for just letting it go.
#2 - We use this foam visor thing I found on Amazon super cheap when we're shampooing. It keeps (most) of the water and shampoo out of her eyes. Greatest thing ever!
#3 - I feel like she's starting to put MORE in her mouth than before! We discourage it when it's things like pens and crayons and trash off the floor. I'm ok with toys for now.
We got the foam visor as well and we love it. It took Emmett a while to get used to it and stop pulling it off, but once he did, it was great. The water stays out of his eyes and ears perfectly!

Our lo is putting things as much as ever too...he'll mouth trees, poles, etc., it's almost like he is marking his territory.
.
My lo is cutting 2 teeth right now so putting things in his mouth is at an all time high. I thought he would just grow out of it.
