Questions for all you more season veterans:
We are 9DPO and I am not feeling very confident about this cycle. I want to call the RE and get a plan for the next cycle and discuss if we are going to move to injectables and if so what medication so I can research local pharmacy's that have them and so on. Well DH(bless him) thinks we should wait because at 12 day follicle measurement and trigger shot the RE said to call after a +HPT or when I get AF. I think I mentioned before that I think the RE is way too passive so I am not sure how to proceed. DH and I agreed we would do IUI until my birthday (August) and then go to IVF if we don't get a BFP by then.
Q1) Should I call the RE and just ask what the process would be?
Q2) Should I make an appointment to see the RE to talk over the plan on how to proceed for the next few months
or
Q3) Wait until I AF shows up and go from there?
Me: 32 DH:34
Married: 7.6.13

1/2014-Laparoscopy, dx Stage 3 Endometriosis
1/2014 to 5/2014- Natural TTC
5/2014- First appointment with RE
6/2104- Femera + Ovidrel+ 1 follice 18mm +TI= BFN
7/2014 - Femera + Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI = ???

Re: To call the RE or not to call the RE
Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!
Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545 -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
However, usually (not always) people will try the same thing for 2-3 cycles before moving onto something else. Is there a reason you want to move onto injects? (There could be a perfectly good reason, I'm just trying to make sure I understand.)
Also, I don't know about your doctor, but I normally have to wait 2-3 weeks for an appointment, so unless you can get in in the next couple of days, you might be stuck with your current plan for a cycle.
I'd call and just ask how they handle things if there a BFN.
