3rd Trimester

Should I be concerned losing my Mucus Plug at 35 weeks?

I lost my mucus plug 3 nights ago and am 35 weeks pregnant. I have been feeling cramps, aches and nausea. None of the cramps are constant enough to keep track of (especially with a 2 year old attacking me 24/7). I've read tons of articles and community pages and most say labor can start anywhere from a couple hours, to days, to a couple weeks, others say its nothing to worry about that it can rebuild itself and does not mean labor will start. Advice??

  • Doesn't sound concerning to me. If the cramps were sharp and painful it would be a different story.
  • I'm a FTM so correct me if I'm wrong but I also thought the Mucus Plug regenerates or at least can regenerate.

  • No, I lost mine slowly between 29-30 weeks. Watch for leaking fluid is what they told me, and blood.
