Toys and Activities?

Hi ladies -

I'm a STM, but completely don't remember how I "entertained" my first at this age. My DD is 3 weeks old and I keep wanting to play with her, use rattles or other toys, but I think it's too early. And based on her reactions - it's too early. When did your LOs start interacting with toys that stimulate hearing, sight and touch? TIA

We did a lot of reading. We also had some black and white toys that we showed DD when she was little. I also laid her under the play gym that early.

I think for the first three months of their lives they aren't interested in too much. I just talk to him a lot, let him lay on the play mat and jingle the toys and do tummy time. The play mat does not interest him at all right now.
