As I posted yesterday, we found out our dude is breech. First off, I'm only 20 weeks so I'm not worried. He has plenty of room to 'run' around and lots of time to get where he needs to be ;-)
They said everything measured right on time and looked great, so we're really excited. Just curious to see if anyone else has had this happen and how you felt? I feel a LOTS of pressure and cervical 'stabbing'. It hurts to sit up too far, get up off the couch, lay a certain way...really any stretching at all! Pretty sucky but so glad everything else is going well ![]()

@aragosta have you felt the pressure also? I'm a FTM so what I'm feeling may very well just be the misery of another human living inside me, but I feel like I should be able to stand up without pain.
The tech also mentioned to me that it will make me look larger, so....fabulous
lol
She didn't really know I was breech until she went into labor. I was supposed to be born by c-section when they discovered I was breech, but I apparently didn't want to wait that long, I was born feet-first in the middle of them prepping my mom for the c-section.
Here's another question and a whole separate topic. I guess I never considered ever having to do a C Section. Like I said, I'm not super worried because I feel like I have a lot of time but I'm one SUPER paranoid person. Literally paranoid about everything lol...Does mortality rate of a C Section far surpass a vaginal delivery?
Idk if you can tell...FTM here...terrified lol
During my SIL's 3rd tri, my niece flipped twice, once into a breech position and once out of it. It scared the crap out of her when it happened - it is very different from regular movement. When she flipped back, it was in the middle of the night and woke her up.
And for those worrying that you're not getting strong kicks, my placenta is at the top and posterior so she spends a lot of time on the belly side of the uterus which is why I'm getting strong kicks. At least that's what the tech said.
**Follow your heart, but take your brain with you**
I'm a weird one, and the thought of vaginal delivery terrifies me, but a c-section doesn't one bit. I have had 3 surgeries, 1 major, 1 moderate, 1 minor, so another surgery seems less scary because I've been there done that. But I've never pushed something out of my vagina!
---------------------------------------------------------------
You could probably google it and find stats pretty easy, but I think technically, yes, there is a higher mortality for C-section but I believe both vaginal and c-section deliveries are below 1%. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Me (36) + DH(35) = Married 9yrs!
I don't recall any specific pressure or pain. Hopefully that will subside sooner than later!
