I haven't lost anything in weeks and I've been busting my butt still and counting calories. I typically stay at 1200 calories a day and get plenty of protein. I'm down 15 lbs down from February and I can't get the scale to move any further. It's depressing to be stuck so long.
This is probably TMI but I've been really constipated for the past several weeks. Probably why I haven't lost anything! I take a probiotic and get plenty of fiber daily so I'm not really sure what the problem is.
@NeedUtonite I think I can. Every time I start though I have issues with my neck going out. I think it's mostly when I do anything on the floor (crunches, push ups, planks, etc.) I have to figure out a good strength training regimen that doesn't have me doing those things. I've been going to acupuncture but I'm not seeing a lot of relief. I do run a few times a week. Yesterday I tried zumba toning with 1 lb weights. Today I ran 1.5 miles in under 13 minutes (8:38 pace) so I am getting faster. After that run I did step for 45 minutes. So I'm mixing it up a little but have to do the muscle like you suggested.
@Hismom12 I have tried weight watchers! I found that once I got to a certain weight before when I did it that it sort of stopped working. I have all the materials so I could always give it a go again and just do it on my own.
@Rachelilly23 check out the fitnessblender videos on YouTube. Some are called "HIIT like a girl". They have tons of plyo type exercises that will give you a good strength and cardio workout together. Although I have no experience with neck injuries, so you'll just have to review and see what you can and can't do.
I'm still stuck at 15 pounds. I was actually pretty excited about the appendicitis because I thought I'd lose a few pounds. Apparently I'm the only one on the planet who can vomit/diarrhea/not eat for days and stay the same weight. What can I say, in a famine I'd be the last to die because my body is soooo efficient! Starting tomorrow, I can and will do this!
@rachelilly23, I'm sure you're already chugging the water, but make sure you drink a ridiculous amount, like 80 ounces a day. Lemon in your morning water helps move the bowels, too Fiber is great but doesn't do much if you don't have the water to move it through! I struggle with this constantly, too.
@BabyCarryingVessel Yeah I drink 10 glasses a day on days I work out, closer to 8 on days I don't. I already feel like I'm drinking a ton. I'm with you though, it's hard for me to drink. I feel like I'm forcing it down!
I'm crabby. My doc wouldn't put in an IUD without either being on the pill for a month or having a period. I haven't had a period yet, so I started the mini pill 3 weeks ago. My supply promptly tanked and I gained 5 lbs. 5! Booo and hiss. I'm having a really hard time making time to work out. I get up at 530 as it is, and generally get home from work around 6. Then it's crazy chaos until I get Girls in bed at 830. And I'd like to be in bed by 930 or 10. So I'm doing my best to go for walks on my lunch break at work, or with the girls in the evening.
Things have been pretty crazy for me. I am still loosing but I have been eating like crap! To get myself out of this nasty eating funk I have been in I went to our local meat market for fresh meats and went to my bffs house and got all my fresh veggies. I also bought a new cookbook to try some fresh new ideas to get me back on track. Let's hope this helps.

Ok, here's a victory even though I haven't been losing... tried on size 10 capris at Old Navy and they fit! My 12s are all huge on me and they look ridiculous with a belt but when I tried 10s at other stores they weren't working.
Sadly i have not weighed myself in weeks. I think i lost something im down a pant size. I work in a medical campus so i walk during the day alot Good work ladies

I am taking a week off from counting. Family is in so we are eating out a lot. I'm up probably 3 pounds this week alone. I anticipated it though, and I'll get back on track Monday.
