Hope everyone had/is having a nice weekend.
After I was well past the one year mark of TTC, I started visiting a naturopath to see what I could do to increase my fertility before turning to an RE and medications. If my signature would ever appear below my posts -- I keep trying to repost and save it! -- you would see that I've also done acupuncture as well.
I've now sought the help of an RE and am on my first medicated cycle, but I still believe there are plenty of things I can do with regards to supplements, nutrition and lifestyle choices to aid in my chances. At this point, I'll try it all. Anyway, I recently downloaded the Kindle/iPad edition of It Starts with the Egg and found that it had some interesting scientific information about how nutrition and the environment affect egg quality (it also contains information that many of us already know about the importance of folate, etc.) I'm pretty sure I'm a sugar addict, so it reminded me to continue to cut back!
I thought I would share because I found it interesting and not preachy. I have no affiliation with the book or it's author, just thought I'd pass it along to you ladies, in case you're interested.
Have any of you read books or articles that you found helpful?
