Here's our "fur" baby. LOL. Stubby, the bearded dragon. He was a rescue. DS loves watching him eat, he almost knocked over the whole tank today he was so excited. He makes dinosaur noises at him, lol.

These are my loves. The picture of the two in a crate is an older picture of my dogs Kai and Keelin. They both got in together and we had to take a picture.

The picture of all 3 is more recent. From left to right is Kai (85 lbs), Keelin (40 lbs), and Jäger (75 lbs). Kai is the oldest, and the one we were just told has cancer. Keelin is the youngest and Jäger is in the middle. We got one at each duty station lol.

We adopted Telly (the white bichy-poo) right after we found out we were pregnant with DD#1. He was found as a stray in San Diego area will full body mange. He is partially blind from scratching at his eyes when he had mange. He also just had triple disc surgery in November so he has been through a lot. Pepper, the mini-schnauzer, was my great-aunt's dog and when she passed away she had wanted him to be put to sleep because she didn't think anybody would want a 12 year old dog with kidney and heart failure. There was no way I wasn't taking him in. I'm a sucker for a good rescue. DD loves them both and they are both lap dogs If I didn't work full-time I would definitely have way more animals!

@MichaelSC28‌ -- I call that the 'catloaf' pic. But you're right--- can't even tell what animal it is out of context. Could be a fur hat from Seinfeld!

We have 3 spoiled dogs. Here they are with DD when she was just 7 months old.

Copper is the beagle. Brandy is the one sniffing the baby. Bailey is the chihuahua/terrier in the front.

mrandmrsk91011 - I had the same issue with Manatee when he was a pup, I honestly would just yelp like a dog fairly loudly if he put his mouth on me at all, not even if he bit down. I looked like a total crazy person, and I would get stares from strangers walking by, but my dog doesn't put his mouth on people anymore. Good luck, she is the sweetest little thing!

I love pets! And yes, my pets are like my children. Everyone's pics are super cute! These are my babies! The kittens are my girl Raven (all grey) and boy Pitta (grey and white). They're brother and sister that we rescued from our local shelter. And our puppy more like son Suggs who we got from a family friend.

this is a bigger version of the pic in my siggy. upper left (orange) is schrödinger, lower right (B&W) is harriet. they're both 9 and LH and i got them before we were married. lower left (grey/blue eyes) is naamari, and she's 7 and softer than a bunny. LH and i got her a year after we got married. SO has adopted them as his own as well and they think he's great (especially naams). upper right (calico) is isobel (izzy) and she's 4. we just got her last january, mostly SO's pick. she looooooooooves him and she's generally a really awesome, friendly cat. (all of our cats are very friendly and social with people, oddly.) unfortunately, recently she's started peeing on things and we're still trying to iron that out because we really like her. already took her to the vet and she's perfectly healthy, and there isn't much we can do with our litter box situation in such a small house, so she's been wearing a pheromone collar and we've had mixed results with her behavior.

We got Roo March 2014. She was originally Rue but my nickname for my husband is Roo so we just switched the spelling to prevent her confusion. She is a mutt; we're thinking German Shepherd, beagle/coonhound, yellow lab, akita mix. She barks like a coonhound and looooooves rabbits. My cuddlebug. She def knows something is up.
