Blueberry Covers - Worth it?

Decided to finally come out of lurking, as I could use some advice on purchasing some covers. DS is 2 months old, and we have been loving cloth diapering. We've been doing prefolds and BG 4.0 pockets, but have decided to just do prefolds when we go on an extended vacation this summer, to make laundry easier.

DS is just about grown out of his smalls, so I'm planning to get some mediums and will need new covers to fit them. Right now we just have Thirsties Duo size 1, which we've been super happy with. However, I love the pattern of the blueberry covers, but am torn because they're a lot more expensive. How do you all feel about them? Are they worth the extra price, or should I just get the next size up in the Thirsties?

Also, I'm debating between the blueberry capri covers and the coveralls. Not sure if we'd use the pocket feature for trifolding that the capri has, but it seems intriguing. Any recommendation?

They are great covers. But they are a little spendy. And they are big. They will definitely fit until potty training, but my 8 week old is wearing them now, too.

I would stick with thirsties if you like them.
But then again I am a cheap ass who also doesn't care about patterns and cuteness. I think thirsties are expensive and overpriced so what do I know lol?

I love our Blueberries (both coverall and Capri). Have you checked out their clearance section? You can get 2nds from there for a lot less, and they still work great

I love our Blueberry covers. I second the recommendation to watch their clearance section. But I also think they're worth the cost to buy new.

Personally, I'll say that all our covers are Capri style. They don't cost too much more than the coveralls, and I think it's nice to have the option to use the flaps or not.

I have 2 coveralls and love them over my fitteds at night. But then I bought them specifically for that. They fit lower on the hip and are larger, so they fully cover a larger fitted without any issues.

On the other hand, I also like my Thirsties cover, the RaRz cover, and my Flip covers when I trifold.

I have a newborn Capri cover (but I don't use it for try folding right now). It's definitely my favourite print in my stash, and functionally/fit a great cover. I also have a OS coverall that I haven't used yet.

The newborn Capri I bought on sale on Earth Day. The coverall I got on Amazon for a really great price (under $14 I think). I would not have bought either for the regular price - I'm too cheap for that!

I only have one coverall that I bought specifically for ON use over a shish. I really like it, very durable, easy to clean. Seems to fit a wide range of sizes.

I have both, but slightly prefer the Duo size 2.

Since you're going to need more than one cover, I would get a mix of both since they are both great.

I always reach for the Blueberries first. We have BBs and thirsties as well, but the Blueberries are the easiest to fasten and tuck the prefold into really fast.

In order of the covers I have, I always reach for Blueberry first, then Sweet Pea, then Best Bottom. (This is for my large 2.5 year old though, so if he was smaller, I'd probably reach for my BB more frequently). So, I'd say the Blueberry covers are definitely worth it.
