  I do all the laundry because he would just throw everything in together.  He doesn't know what needs the gentle/delicate wash and what is regular, or which of our things shouldn't go in the dryer.  I've tried explaining it to him, but he doesn't care enough to remember. I don't mind doing it anyway.

  The only time my husband has ever done laundry is right after i had DD and couldn't do stairs well. He managed to shrink a cashmere sweater and flood the basement.

  I do most of it but DH will throw a load in every now and then.

  Because I'm not working right now, I do most of the laundry; DH will throw in a load if he needs something washed before a work trip.  However, when we were both working full-time and had the household chores evenly split, laundry was one of his chores.

  i do the laundry.  he lived on his own for 10 years, so i know he's capable of doing laundry...i just do most of the stuff around the house since i'm home and he works.  sometimes when i'm feeling particularly tired or icky these days i have him do the running up and down for me, but i still do all the sorting and folding.  he puts his own stuff away though.

  I do mine and he does his. I am sure I will do most or all of the baby's laundry, though.

  DH does all of the laundry - I'll help out if he started some and then had to leave or something like that but for the most part - he does all of the laundry.  When he asked about cloth diapers, I told him that it was his choice because he would have to do the laundry.
