Zombie Apocalypse

So I just offered to send @skidderdo a cow in the case of a milk shortage...which got me thinking: in the event of a zombie apocalypse (or disaster of your choice), and the A13s have to band together for survival, what unique skill/resource do you bring to the group?? @tondraluv has dibs on manhands with which to throttle zombies and protect us.

Shit just call me Alice (Resident Evil) when it comes to being prepared for zombies.

Prepping can be used for zombies or natural disaster, so I am prepared, but not to the extent I would like.

Side note: Even the Pentagon has a zombie outbreak protocol. So there is that to think about lol.

Oh, I also have land. Just 6 acres, but family owns the adjacent land. It's remote enough but is accessible from the interstate. People could get there with little exposure to blind wooded areas.

My dad could start a militia with his arms (I hate guns. Defense is someone else's job). There is a nice sniper perch from the loft looking over the veggie field for whoever guards the gardeners. I used to hide in the loft and attack my cousins with my slingshot when they were coming back from fieldwork.

I don't have many skills but I could provide comic relief... lol.

We have some weapons but I don't know how to use them. I was a lifeguard and semi- remember CPR. I can also make something out of nothing- with food, leftover scraps of fabric, etc.

And if I put on my make-up while drunk and am up all night with the kids, I could pass as a zombie and be a spy.

As a former event planner, I'll organize us into groups (food, shelter, protection) and run shifts. I also have a MS in Early Childhood Education so I can make sure our kiddos are well informed.....of probably nothing that will help them elude zombies.

I am not bad. I am more of a distance runner than speed. I can run until the zombies get bored and give up.

I'm allergic to the outdoors! I always get a bite or some other kind of ailment..I would not do well in a Zombie Apocalypse. I would be that annoying, whiney girl and you all would end up feeding me to the zombies

As you said, i'd be whooping some zombie ass with these Hulk Hands!!!!!!! I've also been taking kick boxing classes so i'm ready. If manipulation and being an asshole was a useful skill then I could contribute that but I doubt it.

Hmmm...Self defense was offered as an option at the all-girls high school I went to, so I took two years of that. If it comes down to hand to hand combat - I've got you covered!

On a related note, the program is phenomenal and I HIGHLY recommend it! They have chapters all over the country.

Oh and on top of some food storage and other things to have a small fortress. I live on 300+ acres of land and have about 30-50 acres of farmland available the rest is woods. Have 8 sheep, two horses, and maybe a few chickens (whenever I get around to getting some).

The population here is like 100 and the nearest town is about 20 miles away so you won't have to worry about a massive horde for at least a small while. We've actually been talking about doing a bunker sometime in the future. The show Preppers gave us a lot of ideas.

I've watched Shaun of the Dead enough times to easily lead us to safety at the Winchester.

I can blind the zombies with my camera flash. And take pictures to document our survival... or death.

I really don't have much but I'm pretty good at making the best out of shitty situations. Sooooo, pass the margaritas @Erin10408‌. I'll get good and sauced with you. Then when the zombies come, I'll naturally run in a zigzag motion, thus escaping all zombie death grips. Also, I get a little psycho when I'm really pissed off so I have no doubt I could kick a little zombie ass when shit goes down.
