Yeah, and it's happening way too fast. He's looking and acting more like a little boy. It's amazing how I feel like I'm starting to see him as a young child more than a baby.
It's getting hard to keep up with him, but this age is fun because they really let their personality start to shine.
DD walked at 8 months. I look back at that now and it completely freaks me out. I can't imagine having a walker in a month.
DS is still getting the hang of crawling. He will hold my hands and take a few steps. He is also starting to pull up and go from belly to sitting. It is probably not that far off but I am thinking **hoping** we still have a little bit more time.
DD loves to stand. She's just now starting to figure out the whole crawling thing. I at least hope she's not one of those that just skips crawling and goes straight to walking but she's gotten so active lately that I know once she figures out either crawling or walking, it's over. it's so sad that they're not little babies anymore. Makes me cry sometimes.

Heaven got another angel the night you left this world behind
Heaven got a little better the day it took you away from me
Missing you tonight, see you again sometime
For now I'll close my eyes and dream of heaven tonight
I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always
Now and Forever
My baby you'll be
LO is pulling up and crawling like crazy. The other day she was scrambling around under the kitchen table and shoving dry cat food in her mouth! I can hardly believe it because DD1 didn't even crawl until she was 10 months. What happened to my baby?!?
I think it's because she was my FET baby and she is like, "hey Mom, I was on ice for 1 1/2 years. I am trying to catch up to my big sister. "
My LO has loved standing for about 2 months now, which I thought was weird. She's not pulling herself up to standing yet, she still needs my assistance, and doesn't seem interested in crawling yet. I would love it if she would skip crawling all together and just go straight to walking. Not now, obviously. But I'm not looking forward to all the dog hair being all over her once she's crawling. Even after I vacuum the tile somehow there's dog hair all over it again 15 minutes later.
I would love to get rid of the dogs, but my DH won't do it. They pretty much tick me off on a daily basis.
This is me and my LO too! She's loves to stand for so long, like months, but barely ever rolls over and shows no signs of crawling, just always wants you to help her stand, and for me to be standing when I carry her!
Also the dog thing- love my little man but he makes such a mess of the couches it's starting to really piss me off- but id never give him up, he was our first baby so I just feel bad he's fallen down the totum poll.
LO also loves to stand up when we hold his hands. DH has been getting him to "walk" for months now, but the other day he practically ran when I put him down. I am so not ready for this! I'm trying really hard to soak up the moments where I can put him down and he still stays put. I'm sure those days are numbered though!
I've got an active one. Crawling very quickly, pulling up ( not always successful) and always wanting me to hd her hands do she can stand. I'm in no rush for any of this either, although she's been so much less whiney since the crawling began (about 6 weeks ago). She's my first, and I just can't believe how quickly the "baby" stage is passing
