Thoughts? Who has done what and do you know your doctor's reasoning?
I'm gearing up for iui #4 next month and I've always done 5-9 but I've had some really mature follies. So dr. Google makes me think 3-7 would be better.
I don't really know the difference either, but have wondered. I'm in my 3rd cycle with Clomid, first 2 I did 5-9, this month i did 3-7. Still waiting to find out if I'm pregnant. I also did a trigger shot for the first time this month, so that may have something to do with it. I am definitely ovulating earlier doing 3-7 than when I was doing 5-9.
I thought it just depended on your cycle length? If your cycle is <35 days (I think?) they will do 5-9, normal cycle length is 3-7, shorter cycles 2-6, etc.

I did comid starting at cd3. I don't know why it would be different, but I've heard of both. I always had really long cycles, so I'm not sure it Mrs Castillo's reasoning was considered for me.

I've never heard of the cycle length theory but that's not that weird since I've only really looked on Google. I heard that 3-7 produced more while 5-9 did more mature. I would ask my doc but to save mulah we are staring with my OB so while I trust her I don't think she's as innovative as an RE. Like I think maybe she does 5-9 for everyone and doesn't adjust to circumstances.
