Baby Buy LOL - STMs might laugh

So I just bought a baby k'tan and and Marpac White Noise Machine on target's website. After I made my purchase, I got the confirmation window that included a list of things commonly bought with the items I purchased. The first thing on the list was Tucks Pads!

It made me laugh because I think back to those early postpartum days when refrigerated tucks were my best friend and I would have spent any amount of money on something that would get my daughter to sleep. So apparently there are lots of Moms out there like me who need Tucks and a white noise machine.

  • I loved Tucks. I probably used them too long but I just loved them so much!

  • Tucks are awesome. My mom used to keep a jar on the back of the toilet and my brother and I would use them after particularly strenuous poos.
  • Wait...what are Tucks?
  • Hilarious!! I almost put them and miralax on my registry.. it's not really a registry bc im a stm its more of a personal list of things to buy but so its all in one pace.

  • I got a 2nd degree tear when I had my daughter. The stitching up part was 10x worse than the actual birth. Tucks pads were my homies. Big time.

"Dear [Friend], thank you so much for the Miralax! I honestly can't think of anything greater than the gift of a satisfying crap. I'll think of you whenever I use it."

Sorry, I know you said it's just a list for yourself. But it would be super-funny if somebody actually got/gave that as a shower gift. :D

Witch hazel soaked pads. Great for hemi's and, apparently, post birth relief.

Remember them, because they (and a can of Dermoplast) will be your best friends!!  They are among the best things I've found to help with the, ahem,
sting in the lady bits after a vaginal birth.  I never could quite do the frozen maxi pad, that just a bit too cold for me down there.

    Edit:  formatting :(

HAHAHA!!! I think I would kiss them!
Last time my bowel twisted and I ended up back in the hospital for 2 days! worst 2days EVER. Baby couldn't go to the nursery because we had already been discharged (less than 24hrs ago!). The only way he could stay is if I had someone stay with me 24/7. I was trying to breastfeed but the nurse was so mean. She told me to feed him formula and send the baby home. My mom, an RN, was still deployed in Kuwait. Miserable! This time im not leaving until I poo!
