Almost 8 weeks and only a couple smiles?

And maybe 1 of those smiles were at someone. The other couple are at the window, ceiling fan, etc. Normal for 8 weeks? Or should we be seeing more social smiles by now?

    Haha I know right?! I keep making goofy faces and acting hilarious (or so I think) and she just stares at me all deadpan. I mean DS thinks I'm funny but she's really making me question my comedic talents! ;-) Oh and of course the one social smile was at DH and not me. Psht. That guy that sleeps all night when I get up and feed you every few hours? Insult to injury my friends!! ;-D

    It took Tate much longer than that, and now he is smiling at me all day, and laughs and cackles at all mommy's hilarious goofball antics.... ;)

    At almost 7 months, he still smiles at the ceiling fan. DH calls the fan surrogate Daddy....

    DS will be 10 weeks and definitely smiles a ton at the ceiling fan, the bears on his swing and out the window at the leaves. DH and I have maybe gotten 1 or 2 smiles each :(

    BFP #1 11/19/12  EDD: 7/25/13  Natural MC on 12/31/12 at 10w4d

    BFP#2 3/1/13   EDD: 11/5/13   Missed MC 4/9/13 at 10w   D&C 4/11/13  
    Baby #2 diagnosed with Trisomy 16. Diagnosed Hetero MTHFR.

    BFP#3 8/5/13   EDD: 4/13/14   Team Green Turned Team Blue! Our rainbow baby, Griffin R arrived via c-section (breech since 20w) on 4/11/14.

    Ohhhh the mobile over her changing table/ceiling fan/window/cats were big hits from 6 weeks on. But momma didn't even register no matter what she did til close to 9 weeks I think. Now she gets all smiley and giggly half way through nursing, playing kick momma/daddy, still loves the mobile and ceiling fans and such. I think some babies just make you work harder for it ;-) I wouldn't worry yet.
