Hi ladies! I hope everyone is hanging in there. Congrats to the good news, and big, squishy hugs to all who need them.

PAIF RESPONSE:

Still nothing big going on here. I'll be 33w on Thursday and I finally see the finish line in sight, it's so amazing. We are getting weekly biophysical profiles and so far baby has passed each test 100%. I'm feeling lots and lots of movement and it's so reassuring! June is keeping me really busy with the weekly (and sometimes twice-a-week) doctor and physical therapy appointments (my back/hip got a little messed up), weekend baby classes, and then my baby shower the last Saturday of the month. I'm really excited to be busy with these kinds of things!

QOTW: I'm going to go with George Takei. I don't know, he just seems like a really fun, witty person and I get a big kick out of following him on FB. :-) Oh Myyyyyyyyy......

Liz so excited your due date is approaching! I can't wait to see a pic of little Sammy and find out eventually which little embryo she came from!!:)
Jalara: glad to see our getting as prepared as you can!!! Hope the time flys by!

AFM: July we start BCP for FET and I guess I'm ready.... It's a lot busier this time around in my life and so I think it will be here before we know it. Sept 11th is Our transfer. Not too excited about getting this butt all bruised up again. I did have a nice break so my cheeks won't know what hit um!
Qotw: maybe JFK. I'm fascinated with that whole story!

Adoption update........

PJ is doing great. So many milestones have happened in just over a month and he starts his physical therapy and developmental therapy today with our in home early start program! Hopefully it will get him caught up and he will be crawling before we know it!
Girls at work are throwing me a foster adoption shower on the 29th at one of my favorite winery's so I'm excited for that. We still need quite a bit of stuff. Having this emergency placement come a month after we were certified was a shock and not having everything you need is so hard.

PAIF Check-In: I've been worrying about the possibility of pre-e creeping up on me due to some symptoms I've been having. I just now finally got my lab results from last week's appt and my kidney's are dumping more protein than they had been.

( I hate the pre-e med and I'm only on the smallest dose. I really want to keep these babies cooking for as long as possible and don't want pre-e to force me to deliver early. It scares me.

Check-In: I hit my six week mark on Saturday - I've still got the morning (aka all day) sickness. I'm seriously bloated to the point where my jeans don't fit, but my weight is exactly the same... so thankful that it's summer and I can wear maxi dresses to work! I don't know if the bloat cause is the pregnancy or progesterone, but I don't see it going away any time soon. We have the hearbeat appointment Thursday, I'm crossing my fingers for a strong little heartbeat. I think after Thursday it will all feel a little more real - I know I'll also feel better since the m/c rate lowers considerably after a heartbeat is seen. Sending good vibes to all!

QOTW: I would want to meet Amy Poehler - I think she's beyond funny and that we'd be fast friends, ha!

Hi everyone!

PAIF response/ticker warning

32 days until my due date!!! I get to see baby on u/s tomorrow; the OB checks position and fluids etc. Meanwhile I'm getting more uncomfortable. I'm carrying low so it's hard for me to even find a comfy position for sitting anymore. I can't put my legs together unless I'm leaning way back, which isn't a great position either. Of course it helps that I know the discomfort will be over soon and I will finally see this little girl. Fx everything keeps going well until she's fully baked.

QOTW: I'd love to meet Pope Francis actually. The Catholic Church and I have some differences of opinion on some things (like IVF and egg donation!) but I still think Francis is a really inspirational figure and I love the different tone he has introduced.

Congrats on the good news and hugs to all who need them! @ double portion... I hope your little ones keep cooking for a long time yet, but congrats on getting this far! My twins were born at 31 weeks, 3 days and while they are doing well, I really hope you can keep yours cooking much longer. Update: we are doing fine. I don't always have an update, mainly come on here to cheer everyone on, hope that's ok!

AFM: I have my baseline appointment tomorrow morning and start my Delestrogen injections. We're still on for July 3rd FET if all goes as planned. (I can't seem to update my sig)

I'm still on a Nuvaring for our mock cycle. Next Wednesday I'll start Lupron. We went to the urologist today to talk about putting DH on a TRT. For whatever reason they had him do an S/A. The first thing the doctor said when he came in the room was what have you been doing? Taken back a little and confused, we hadn't changed anything. DH had a motile sperm count of 17 million! They are testing it further to determine but we are 80% sure he has anti-sperm antibodies. We are thrilled at 17 million though! No clue how or when all the sperm came back but we'll take it. Now we have some major decisions to make. Of course the urologist doesn't want to do TRT at this point. After further testing, he is willing to consider Arimidex or going back on HCG but we are going to wait and see. We just found out this morning so we haven't even gotten to really discuss things yet. Still very surprised right now.

I am 7 weeks tomorrow! First sono is Wednesday. I am interested to find out if we have one or two in there! I have every symptom out there but the morning sickness has really kicked my butt the past week. I got zofran once the vomiting started. We leave for Spain in a week and a half and we are going to share with our families before we leave. We will let the rest of the world find out after 13 weeks.

QOTW: I get to meet "famous" people for work and they aren't really that fascinating to me but I would love to hang out with Mindy Kaling because I think she is awesome ( or at least by her book and instagram account).

I will hit 33 weeks this week and have an ob appointment, an ultrasound, an NST, and an mfm appointment. It is definitely starting to feel like the home stretch. I had a little detour to OB triage at the hospital for double/blurry vision and dizziness last week. They monitored Gracie and I for a few hours, then let us go. They never figured out what caused the issues, so now I just hope they don't come back.

Baby mention......

It has been a while since I last checked in. Things have been sooo busy since my father passing away, going back to work, selling our house, and now getting ready to move. Caleb is doing great and has been such an amazing joy in our lives. He is so big, laughs all the time, and is just the happiest baby. We are so incredibly blessed with him, I can't imagine it being any better.

We are already discussing trying for number 2. I am not physically ready (especially since having a c-section), but mentally, I am getting the baby bug again. I just really dread all of the shots, meds, and prep for transfer.

QOTD: Neil Patrick Harris....i love me some Doogie and just want to hang out and sing show tunes together...

My big sorries to those with morning sickness, nausea is awful. Best of luck to those cycling and waiting!

AFM, I had my egg retrieval Wednesday and it went really well. I was surprised; you’d think having done it before, I wouldn’t be nervous about the whole thing, but I was. I was really tense remembering how the IV antibiotics stung, and my worrywart husband was rubbing off on me, so I was legitimately scared of the anesthesia. But, all was fine. No nausea, little pain, and the anesthesia caused no issues. All was well. They got 51 eggs. I will not be told how many were mature or fertilize.

It was my last donation, unless the family I donated for previously contacts me about a sibling. That baby should be due at the end of July! Please keep your fingers crossed for this week’s recipients!

QotW: I don’t want to meet famous people! Either I care what they think and will clam up, or I don’t and well, yeah. Maybe somebody hyperfamous for the bragging rights?

Everybody sounds like they are doing well!!

AFM: We have decided to move forward with our 180. We will be doing a mini/lowstim IVF with the few eggs I produce and DS. We will be incorporating intralipids, neupogen wash, and lovenox. It has been a huge turn in events. We hope, more than anything that this works. I'm not sure how much more we can take. If this doesn't work we will be looking into Donor embryos vs. DE/DS.

QOTW: I would have to give this a lot more thought. The only people I can think of have passed away.

Hello Ladies,
I started my mock cycle which will culminate on 6/30 with and endometrial biopsy. My RE is going w Ivigen and they are doing the ERA test. It checks to see if your transfer falls within the right window of implantation. I hope this test will shed some clarity on my failed cycle.

Congratulations to those of you with BFPs and good luck to those about to cycle.

Had my fetal echo last week and thankfully all looked good with baby boy's heart! And yes, the doctor was nice enough to confirm that it was still a boy, LOL. My next appointment is Friday (24 weeks!) and I'm excited to see little one again. For the past few weeks I think I've been feeling inside movement which is nice, although as a first timer you never really know (could it be gas, LOL)? I'm just thankful for each and every milestone we reach and hope and pray for continued good news. I guess I'm due for the gestational diabetes test soon, which I'm NOT looking forward to!

I hope everyone is having a great week! I continue to root for all of you that are still cycling/waiting or struggling with next steps. ((hugs))

I had an US this morning that showed a nice large follicle ready to go. I'll be taking an HCG trigger shot and having my IUI on Thursday...I'm feeling optimistic & hopeful.

I'd love to meet Ellen Degenerous...her happiness is contagious, no matter what mood I am in I can watch her show and feel good. She is so kind and generous to others, it's inspiring. I love to hear the stories of her fans and people she helps. It's not unusual for me to be crying while watching Ellen, happy tears!

@sailorina - I think I am having the same test done this month? When is your biopsy? I am having a hard time finding anyone else who has experience with this test. It's kind of a big commitment, as far as possibly having to repeat the biopsy if the timing is off, but I'm hoping it gives us both some clarity. Best of luck-

Update: I've agreed to have the Endometrial Receptivity Array test. My biopsy is 7/2... I was told it could take upto 3 weeks to get the results. If it comes back out of sync, I'll need to do another mock cycle and biopsy with the new recommended date of transfer, to verify my lining really is in sync at that time. It was a big decision for us, as it very well may end up being 4 months until we can cycle again.

I also went for my 2nd opinion today, which was depressing. He also suggested the endometrial array, but had no other suggestions and agreed with my RE.

Honestly, I'm beginning to give up. Only about 20% of those who do this test find their linings are out of sync.

We are not open to seeing a RI at this point. (pls don't take offense if you have or had treatment with one, this is just where I am at)

I had been very seriously considering California conceptions, but if this test reveals my lining is in sync, I feel like it would be pointless.

We are starting to seriously consider Domestic Infant Adoption, but we just aren't ready yet.

I'm late to the check-in, yesterday was a busy day...

First yay for all the good updates and hugs to anyone who needs them.

We are continuing to trudge through our treatment break. We are moving ahead with our donated frozen eggs and I sent the donation agreement that my lawyer drew up to our donor. Just waiting to see if they have any revisions and then we will be ready to sign and notarize the agreement. Still over 2 months until my appointment with Dr. KK. Right now we are leaning towards doing a double donor cycle, hopefully in November/December.

Km672 My biopsy is on 6/30 - I know what you are going through, I'm trying to be patient but this waiting for one thing or another is driving me crazy. The thought of potentially waiting 3-4 months to cycle again sucks.

I'm spending next week at a writer's retreat so I hope that will make the time go fast. Waiting for the results won't be fun either.

What is an RI?

Best of luck to you as well, some clarity and a good outcome would be nice.

@Sailorina - RI is Reproductive Immuologist. It's the only route I haven't gone down, but it's just too much for us.

The waiting is the worst...all I do is worry and overthink.

My clinic said the results could take upto 3 weeks to get back... What did they tell you? I'm hoping they are just telling me this to keep my expectations low-

@Km672 the website says 1-2 weeks for the results, I think my RE said 2 weeks but it may be longer since 4th of July is a 3 day weekend and may mess with the timing.

I've chunked up quite a bit since I started this journey, I'm going to use the waiting time to work out and see how far I get with following through w it.

The RI panel of tests are so expensive, I'd rather avoid them if I can help it.

Hi Girls, it seems like a lot of good going on around here! I so hope that I can add to that some day. I feel like the past two years, I have been nothing but bad news!! The past several weeks, I have been trying to shove down all the negative thoughts. I was doing this whole "pretend to be happy" thing, and it was sorta working. Well, my IUI cycle is about to be a bust, so this morning I ugly cried on my way to work. And then again at my desk (and my sales rep walked in and caught me trying to hide in the storage closet.... sooooo awkward). I am in full-on PMS mode, and am wondering why the hell am I doing this to myself?! I am D.O.N.E. with these IUIs. I am OVER my eggs. I just wish that we had the money to do a DEgg cycle now. Sigh. I have come to realize that doing these IUIs while we wait is too destructive... I just wish there were a way to shut my brain off while we wait.
