Question about frozen breast milk

Hey guys, not a mom yet but I'm nannying. Today is the first time we have had to use some frozen donated BM. I thawed the bag in warm water. Baby takes 4 oz at her mid-morning feeding, and the bag had probably 5-6 oz. Is it ok to put the remainder back in the fridge to use the other 1-2 oz later, or is it bad now that it has been thawed/somewhat warm?

if you are going to offer it to her within 24 hours of thawing, it should be fine. (if you give it a sniff and it doesn't smell sour, it's okay.)
