I'm back here after a very short stint in 1st tri and a very early chemical pregnancy. I'm not sure if I should even consider it a loss because my beta only reached 22, not even the 25 that is the minimum for a definitively positive blood pregnancy test. And people always say you can't be "just a little pregnant!" I beg to differ.
For anyone looking this up: My beta was 7.4 at 12 dpiui, 22 at 15 dpiui, and back down to 5.4 17 dpiui. Progesterone was 16.7 ng/mL, ~20 ng/mL, and 16.7 ng/mL for the same days. In the mean time, I had spotting start 13 dpiui and heavy bleeding with clots the night of 14dpiui night 15 dpiui. The doc recommended that I double prometrium to 2x200mg daily. I did that for the last two nights and the bleeding slowed to a trickle.
I'm not too broken up about it because this was the most likely outcome with low and slowly rising betas and this is my first IUI (second medicated cycle). Actually, I'm relieved that we got to fertilization and it didn't end up ectopic. I'll take that as a good sign for the next round.
I have a follow-up lab scheduled in two days (19 dpiui/cd ?) to make sure my beta is back below 2. They're also going to check progesterone and estrogen and do an u/s to see if I'm back to baseline and ready for another round of meds. I hope so!
Anyone have a similar experience? How'd your ensuing cycles go?

Moving on to IVF. (Why we're moving on to IVF)
IVF#1 (w/ICSI): BCP 9/9-9/23. Gonal-F, Ganirelix, Low-dose HCG (antagonist protocol). 41R/35M/32F... 2 transferred on 10/14, 14 frosties! On cabergoline to help avoid OHSS. BFN, possibly because of 90% drop in estrogen and progesterone a few days after ET.
FET#1: Transferring 2 on January 8. BFP! beta#1 (1/17): 408, beta#2 (1/20): 1310, first u/s scheduled 2/5

My last mc my beta was 8 and they said over 5 was positive. I had to go back a few days later for a blood test to make sure it was going back below 5, so we could start a new cycle. I wasn't able to cycle right away because I had 2 cyst. I got on bcp for 2 weeks and they went away and I started another cycle. We knew I was miscarrying because it was full on period at that point. My other 3 miscarriages were with my ob and he never checked my beta's down then again 2 I had a D&C's.
PCOS | Anovulatory | Metformin + Letrozole

09/2012: Start TTC after stopping NuvaRing. No cycles seemed to occur.
01/2013 - 05/2013: Tried Provera to "jumpstart" cycles. No luck.

Dx: MFI; June '14 IVF w/ ICSI: 11R, 8M, 5F... 1 5dt, beta #1: 213, beta #2: 621, beta #3: 8545!
Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).
We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

May 2014 - Break cycle to repeat saline sonogram and re-group. Travel to Kauai 5/7-5/12 (Yay!!)
So sorry. My CP was somewhere in the teens and SG counted it as a positive. Waiting for the beta levels to drop was very frustrating but I was able to begin again fairly soon afterwards.
