One of my girls is totally freaked out by only one thing - sneezing. She doesn't even flinch at dog barking, door slamming or dropping a pot on the tile floor, but a sneeze totally sets her off. She gets startled, flings her arms out, flails around, contorts her face into the saddest expression any human can muster and begins to wail. Alligator tears and all. Seriously? All this over a sneeze? I find it so amusing. While laughing I do cuddle her and reassure her the sneezing boogey man will not get her; lest you think I just sit back and mock my terrified child. But it is so funny. Oh and this reaction is only for other people's sneezes. Her own sneezes (which happen about 20 times a day, always in sets of 3) are apparently not cause for alarm. What does your kid do that makes you laugh?

Re: Laughing at my crying baby
Baby Girl Born: April 2014
If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, I will answer you:
My LO has always had the classic pouty lip/head thrown back cry, which is equal parts sad and adorable. She also has this high-pitched wolf pup cry/coo she makes when upset, like "Ah-oooo!!" Throw that into the mix of the above combo, and I'm completely laughing at my helpless child.
Here she is, winding up a cry. Tummy time was not on her agenda of "fun activities..."
