When I was 20 I had to go get the last of my stuff from mine and my exes place (don't get a mortgage together before your married!) and he moved some NASTY stripper into one of the spare rooms. I have nothing against strippers at all, but she was seriously gross. She was following me around running her mouth non stop calling me names, basically trying to pick a fight with me. I finally had enough after a half hour and I did the no no and pushed her first into a hamper basket on the couch so she couldn't move and just started punching lol all she did was hang on to my hair.. Never did try to throw a punch.. Then when my ex pulled me off of her she tried to stand up and I kicked her in the chest and she got stuck in the hamper basket again lol I have been in plenty of verbal, that was the only physical altercation though.
I worked in an inner city school and have broken up lots of fights, does that count? My favorite phrase I have heard is "bust a grape" when a girl was trying to get another to fight her, I plan to use that saying if I ever want to fight someone. Also, I once broke up a fight between two 8th graders in the cafeteria... one of them was 8 months pregnant.
Once when I was in high school a girl tried to get physical with me. She tried to pull me to the ground but fell herself. I just looked down at her and then walked away. Then a few years later as I was breaking up with my ex he punched me and it landed on my shoulder.. It pissed me off and spent the next 10 minutes *trying* to beat the crap out of him.. Nothing landed though. He seemed to realize he went to far and didn't hit me again. I was like 18 and dumb.
I do get into discussions on fb about politics though. Im THAT person. I tell myself it's OK though because I stay calm, don't resort to name calling or petty insults, and stick to logic and facts to win the debate. ...I probably still annoy people though.

Like how did she use "bust a grape" was it like "I'm about to bust a grape up in here" lol. Kids are stupid. I saw a fight when I was in 8th grade it was 2 girls one had the other pinned down on the ground and had ahold of her hair and was just beating her head into the concrete I'll never forget that and the sound it made. Seriously kids are dirty fighters!
I was standing in the door way separating the two, and the one girl just kept repeating "bust a grape" over my shoulder, nothing else. She was very forceful with it, and I actually starting laughing because it was so ridiculous.
*almost* Twice. First time in middle school, I got surrounded by a group of seriously terrifying mean girls who I think were legitimately in a sort of girl gang. I was super nerdy in middle school and the butt of many elaborate practical jokes, but this was something different. They were actually going to do me physical harm, until one of the popular girls jumped in and actually defended me. I sat next to her in band class and we were secretly kind of friends, although she would NEVER acknowledge me in front of the other cool kids. But she freakin' came through when it counted and stood up to the gang and protected me. I will never forget that!
Then again in college. I have a particularly spunky friend from Worcester, MA who doesn't take shit from anyone. We were in a bar in New Orleans where we went to college and we put some money in the jukebox. Then these asshole guys came up and shoved us out of the way and started picking songs using our money. My friend pushed one guy, ripped his cigarette out of his mouth, broke it in two, dropped it on the ground, stomped it and then full on PUNCHED HIM IN THE FACE. The guys we were with stepped in to defend us and we ran away as punches flew everywhere!
I'm a pansy or as some people and my H say, "too nice and a pushover". I have never been in one. I had one wild streak through middle school days and got in a "verbal" one before a friend pulled me away from the girl, it was in the locker room at gym time. Classy, right? As I got older it was like I got more scared of people and I'm not sure why.
I used to in elementary school. There was this one annoying boy who would not leave me alone. So If he made fun of me, I would try to hit him, he would pull my hair, I would punch back. Anyway one fight lead to another and pretty soon a few kids from my class and I had our very own fight club for 9 year olds.
As an adult, the only fight I got into was a fake one. I was going to a really small college and this girl who I also worked with thought it would be a good idea to stage a fight. (I really don't remember why we thought it was a good idea at the time). So one night after we got home from work we pretended to be pissed at each other, then the next morning at school we "fought" each other. It was not cool. We made someone cry.
I'm not a fighter, usually i get along with everyone pretty ok except for only a couple of people.
There was one time when I guess i pissed my ex off and he literally bit my arm. He bit it so hard the entire area was black and blue and it took weeks to heal. You could see each tooth in the bite bruise too. I didn't throw a punch or yell as pissed as I was about it, I just looked at him, looked at my arm then told him we were done and walked away.
physical altercations....only with future SIL. We used to be ok however she lost my respect when she chose alcohol over her own daughter. FI family lives far away and when we visit we have to rent a hotel room. She was put up in our room then proceeded to drink hard liquor that night. We went back to the hotel room and she thought oh hey free sitter and continued to go to the hotel bar and get drinks...and come back...She did this over and over and i was getting tired of it. The last she came up FI took her drink away and told her to shut the f up. When she didn't and kept making comments about how her daughter was fine she can do whatever the f she wants i yelled "i would NEVER..."she lunged and started throwing punches, FI caught her mid air and told her she better lay the f down and go the f to sleep. She did and she has been cut out since. She didn't even let me finish...i was gunny say I would never leave my son to get trashed. I don't care if someone is there to watch him, I refuse to allow my child (ren) see me in a situation where I have no control over myself.
I've always been afraid to get into a physical fight. I was afraid I was too weak and would get hurt. When I was about 20 I owed this girl $5. She came up to me one day, asked where my $5 was and hit me in the face. To my surprise I turned into the hulk and kicked her ass. It was like I turned into a different person. I was so mad that I snapped. She started to run away from me and I ran after her. Luckily for her I'm a slow runner. I guess I'm not that weak after all.
Yup, several. All while drunk in college. I definitely threw a few punches at girls I got into it with and even choked a random dude on the street. They all make for funny stories now, and nobody is really surprised when I tell them since I tend to be on the fiesty side and drinking only fuels that fire.
I was at a house party drunk of course. I was outside and through the french doors I see someone shove one of my friends across the room. I busted in with both hands up flipping everyone off and yelling WTF IS GOING ON. I was immediately grabbed by a couple people. My friends and I had to leave and things were a bit tense the next time I saw any of them.
Apparently I threatened someone with a frying pan one time. Don't remember, but my friends love to tease me about it.
I was in high school and my BFF and I went to a random person's house party. We didn't know anyone there, but went ahead and got drunk. I was making out with this guy, and it turns out that the girl who's house we were at had a huge crush on this guy and kicked us out of the house. It was like 1am and my BFF and I were drunk and 16 years old. As we were leaving I said "Fucking bitch" (a crowning moment in my life). The girl and all her friends come streaming out of the house and knocked me over, kicked me in the face, and broke a beer bottle over my friend's head. I flailed at them with my purse.
We ended up just wandering around this strange neighborhood, drunk, in a time before everyone had a cell phone. Eventually we knocked on some random person's door who's lights were still on. They gave us water, a blanket, and drove us to my friend's house. It ended up being a positive experience because those people restored my faith in others and I think about that night whenever I'm faced with a situation where I'm on the other side. I've helped out my fair share of lost and hopeless people I stumble across because of them.
I did have to explain a black eye to my mother, I don't think she bought the story I made up.

That had to feel pretty good beating her ass in front of your ex though...right?
Oh yea it was awesome! Lol my best friend was there with me, but 3 months pregnant at the time. All she could do was stare lol she finally made my ex grab me off of her
I have quite a legendary temper, maybe its my Irish blood, I'm a Scorpio, or the fact I was raised in a Mexican household, but it was pretty bad when I was in high school. I got into 2 big fights back then. The first was when a boy who had been bullying me for months turned around in our English class and started making fun of my arm hair... I had enough and gave him a hard right hook to the jaw. It knocked him clean out and over his desk onto the floor in front of the white board, just in time for our teacher to walk in. The teacher said she assumed he deserved it and sent him to the principles office, and she just gave me a big smile.
The next time was at my Senior party. A guy had the balls to show up after he had tried to rape my best friend at another friends senior party the night before. I didn't even give him a chance to say a word. I walked up to him and punched him in the mouth. I happened to be wearing my boyfriends GIANT class ring on that hand, and knocked out his front teeth. He has to wear dentures now. I'm pretty proud of that one.
Now I save my temper for those that hurt my close friends and family. I tend to be very sneaky and underhanded now with more sabotage than outright fighting. I ONLY do this if someone really really screws someone I love over though.
Man we do have some bad ass bitches (I hope I can say that!) in this group!!! I have never been in a physical or verbal fight. I'm too much of a scared cat!! I get revenge in other ways. For instance ... long story short I was mad at a guy for taking advantage of me (financially) and lying to me about shit. So I took him on the Judge Joe Brown Show ... Pretty sure I made myself look like a complete idiot as well, but I felt like I got justice for making him look like a fool on national television. I also contacted every female on his friends list and told them what a piece of shit he was.
I have done shit like this (maybe not on TV) multiple times when people piss me off.
Physical fights when I was in middle school I was in several bc I didn't take crap from anyone. Also physical fights with an ex-boyfriend but he always won. Verbal fights it has been a while but I have a bit of a hot mouth and temper.
I went to an all-girl Catholic high school. We're crazy bitches. Had a girl throw an entire cup of ice tea at me from across the lunch table. I had made out with her boyfriend or whatever. Ice tea all over my uniform. I lunged over the lunch table like a damn cheetah. Nuns broke it up. Then when I was a senior, I beat up my prom date. He was being a douche to me all night and I lost it. Unfortunately, I'm only 5'3 and he was 6'5. My punches only reached his chest but he got the point.
I played water polo in high school... it's a fairly physical sport (okay, downright dirty sometimes), and I did antagonize a girl I was guarding so much once that she straight up punched me in the face, and was kicked out of the game. I maaaay have deserved it and was just better at hiding my blows underwater from the refs.
Other than that, when I was in college I was at a house party once and had some random dude grab me between the legs as I was walking through a crowded room. I immediately punched him in the face and grabbed him by the back of the head and drug him out of the house, throwing him out of the party. Apparently he had done the same thing to a friend of mine's girlfriend minutes before, and she had gone outside to get him to throw him out. When the couple guys came inside to find the creep to confront him, they walked in right as he did the same thing to me and saw my reaction. They followed me out and backed me up in not letting the guy sneak back inside, and also said it was freaking hilarious to see the guy looking mortified about getting his ass handed to him by a girl, they thought it way more fitting than if they had done the same thing
Oh... And I forgot I got in an epic fight with my college boyfriend after a friend's wedding. Let's just say they had a margarita machine that was serving waaaay before any of the food, and I don't drink tequila anymore. That guy was an ass, had just quit smoking so the jerk factor was amplified, and that combined with my drunken rage was not a good combo apparently. I sucker punched him when we got home that night and I vaguely remember being shoved into a bedroom to sleep it off. Of our many break ups, that one was the most dramatic until I finally called it quits for good a year later. Thank gawd I came to my senses and left.
I got into a physical fight with an ex. He stole my phone and was going through it. I got super pissed and jumped him which wasn't fair to him since he just broke his collar bone a month before. But I think the worst part was burning his face with a cigarette.
Now my best friend got into a fight and I'm worst friend cause I'll I did was hide behind my boyfriend at the time. I just kept telling him save her. She got a few cuts but the chick who started it pushed her on a hill. But she filed a report and it all worked out.
I've only been in one physical fight in high school. It was pretty funny the girl insisted I threw the first and last punch and she had a fat lip and black eye. She also tried insisting she "won" the fight even though I didn't even have as much as I red mark on me. She didn't even know how to punch. She kicked me once and tried to bite me. It was quite ridiculous. I've never really been a physical fighter. Lately though this pregnancy has me ready to throw down lol.
I'm very nice... until I get pushed into a corner. My H always says under his breath when we can see I'm getting upset "don't poke the bear"
I got into an almost fight in middle school when the school's toughest girl picked a fight with me over a boy. It was the first time in a long time I was actually wearing a skirt and heals too. I feel like I stood my ground and when she went to throw a punch somehow I dodged it, spun her around and slammed her into the lockers and said something brilliant (I have no clue what I said at this point). She walked away. It was an odd experience.
Whenever we used to go to punk shows I loved standing on the edge of the mosh pit so I could push people back in. My H was always afraid I would get him into a fight cause when people smashed into me I always gave them a strong push back and they would look shocked when they realized a girl had pushed them. I'm glad I never got my H into a fight because of it cause I was sure asking for it....
I was also a mosh pit girl. We were big into the local hardcore scene. I never got too involved with the pit but I definitely loved giving a nice shove here and there. Especially to the really drunk and stupid ones. I've never been involve in a fight at a show but I've definitely seen some wicked fights go down. The best one was at this tiny hole in the wall place in Brooklyn. Some dude walked in with his girlfriend and you could so tell they did not belong. The girl picked a fight with some of the bands girlfriends and the next thing you know everyone was on top of these two and basically fought the guy and his girlfriend out the door. Then another fight broke out and the band got pissed and stopped the show. I've also seen ones where the bands stopped playing and jumped in the fights too. Crazy shit. It's funny thinking about that now being older and having kids. I would have a heart attack if I was somewhere now and a fight broke out like that lol.
Only with my brother and not since we were kids, but up until I went off to college, I would routinely verbally attack him and he would eventually start throwing punches.
Once in early high school I can't remember what I did, but I probably made some snide comment to the wrong girl. A few minutes later, her gang of 3 other girls joined her and were debating whether or not to beat the crap out of me. Thankfully one of them had been friends with me in elementary school before everyone started segregating themselves by race/ethnic group. She called the rest of the group off so I didn't get my butt kicked. I was scared for a bit, though.
