Small AW: baby hand-me-downs!

We just got back from grabbing some baby stuff from some friends that are done with having children and I feel like we made out.  They gave us a Primo baby bathtub, mesh crib bumpers, and a high chair that straps to your regular kitchen chairs (all used, but in good shape).  They also gave us a brand new unopened Ameda Purely Yours breast pump that they had received with their second child and didn't use!  I am psyched I don't have to get my own pump (insurance just puts it toward my deductible, which isn't that great)!!!  They didn't want anything in return, but we got them a gift card to get ice cream with their family.  I just am so thankful they saved us lots of $!!!

    Very nice! Always so good to have such great friends!!! My closest friend is doing me a similar solid. She is driving up for my baby shower in early August and bringing me a ton of stuff including - a Chico stroller with car seat attachment that doesn't expire for almost 2 more years - allowing me to just buy the next stroller/car seat up; the baby Einstein Neptune baby activity mat which I actually bought her - and in great shape; a basinet pack and play, tons of developmental toys and more. She also sent me a box full of swaddlers, bibs and baby clothes that are in such good shape, they're like new. I have another friend giving me a crib and a glider. In general, because I am one of the last of my friends to give birth, they're offering a lot of stuff and I feel so incredibly lucky too!

    That's awesome! We are the first of our friends to have kids and we're having the first grandchild on both sides so if we get any hand me downs they'll probably be from the 80's lol
