Restless night sleepers

My LO is sooooo restless at night. She will sleep good for like the first 3-5 hours then ill feed her and put her back down. From then on... She tosses and turns. She doesn't ever cry she just is restless. Anyone else? Any ideas as to why she is so restless?

  • My LO is the same way. No answer for ya, but I feel your pain. He doesn't seem upset...just kicks and swings his arms....and yeah, he starts out swaddled. LOL

  • Same here. If my LO isn't super tired when she goes to bed, she will toss and turn. I swaddle her arms out, but she still kicks and flails her arms. I don't swaddle her arms because it makes her more annoyed in her sleep. She doesn't cry, is just awake on and off and moving around. My pedi said it's normal and to turn down the sound on the baby monitor! Lol
  • Same here. My LO recently started going to bed in his pack n' play next to our bed, rather than bedsharing. He sleeps for 4-5 hours in his PNP, and when he gets up for a feeding, he nurses, poops, I change him (he usually wees on the bed at this time, so then I strip the bedding and put him in fresh jammies), and then I breastfeed him to get him to sleep. He does go back to sleep but he squirms and wiggles and grumbles until we get up a few hours later.
