Cookies instead of cake

For Dmitri's birthday party I want to make cookies instead of cake.  I'm at a loss though for what to do about singing and blowing out candles.  Any ideas?  The only things I can think of are buying/making one cupcake or trying to jam 2 candles into a sugar cookie.

I don't really want to only have one cupcake, but I'm thinking that might be the best option.

Ideas?  Thoughts?  Please help?

It's a Pooh party if that makes a difference.

    I agree with PP. Put some icing on the cookie to help hold the candles. You could also layer 2 cookies together with icing if you want to make it larger, more like a cake.

    I love the big cookie idea. When I googled it, I also saw a mother who had made a cookie sandwich for the middle of the tray, and put the candles on it.

    This is where my mind instantly went with the sandwich cookie idea with the candles in the icing in between the cookies lol
