Heart attack is over.... U/S are covered!

So my RE office told me that the u/s are not covered for IUI monitoring and something told me to call my insurance company and they said it is covered. Called the RE office again and they needed to call and confirm. They just called me and said yes. So. Happy..., I was worried cause the u/s are $350 and you need like 3 a cycle!! Just cut the price in 1/2 for every IUI cycle pretty much. Note to self:start calling insurance company to confirm pretty much everything from here on out!
Me: 26 (IC/PCOS-2000mg of Metformin daily)

June 2014- HSG=clear

DH: 27 (SA results were great minus the slightly low morphology)
Started dating DH in 2002 at 14 years old
Married on 03.01.2014
Officially TTC since April 2014 
January 2013- Surprise BFP, m/c at 6 weeks, D&C 2 Weeks later
April 2014- First RE appointment
July 2014- IUI#1-Canx due to scar tissue and polyps. TI with the help of Ovidrel. BFN

August 2014- Hysteroscopy to remove scar tissue and polyp

September 2014- IUI #1.1-100mg Clomid, Ovideral, 11.5 million swimmers=BFP

EDD-6/3/15- Our sweet baby Ryan was born on 1/6/15 and is in the arms of an Angel

Dx with IC on 1/6/15

    Wow that's great! I'm OOP for everything and you're right, one cycle of ultrasounds adds up quickly.

    DX PCOS 3/2014

    2 cycles Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Clomid 50 mg + TI - no response stair-stepped to Clomid 75 mg + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Folistim + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim  - no response, repeated Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI = success! 12/2014

    Beta 1 - 15 dpiui, 324, Beta 2 - 17 dpiui 750. Twins!!

    Cycle 30: IVF#1 - Starting with Menopur + Follistim + Ganirelix
    17 retrieved, 12 fertilized, 5dt w/ 2 blasts, 5 frosties
    Betas:  #1-156(9dp5dt), #2-1200(13dp5) #3-6112(17dp5)
    Ultrasound #1 10/6: 1 bean!

    Congrats! I'm still waiting to see how the USs are covered/not...insurance said there was a limit of 3, which I thought was per year, but now I'm wondering if it's per month or per treatment...so rather than call and find out, I'll just wait it out and hopefully be pleasantly surprised!

    Awesome, glad you didn't listen to your RE's office and called :)
