Brown Mucus Discharge (TMI! :/) UPDATE #2

Sorry this is disgusting...but I have a feeling you'll not be super grossed out since we're all in the same boat here

For a good while, when my second trimester started I had that lovely, egg white(ish) mucus discharge happening and just recently (probably over the course of a couple weeks) I've noticed 2 or 3 times that when I go to the bathroom, it's no longer white, but has a brown tint to it. I'm not cramping, no spotting/bright blood ever, just this one odd thing.

Is this common OR has anyone else experienced this? I'm almost 20 weeks & I wouldn't normally start my period (breakthrough bleeding) until the beginning of July. Tbh, I'll probably all my doctor tomorrow just to reassure myself but wondered if anyone could speak from experience as well.

(I've noticed that this has happened a couple times when I've been doing something physical. It doesn't have to be much at all )

UPDATE: I did talk to my midwife and her nurse and they suggested that I have my A/S done at 2pm today as opposed to waiting until Monday morning. I don't feel bad/crampy or have any other symptoms that something might be wrong so I'm hoping it's just some random act of pregnancy but I'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Thanks a lot!

UPDATE #2: We went for our A/S today and everything seemed great except that he was breech. I'm 20 weeks exactly so I've got time for him to move, and hopefully it's soon! Heart rate was 130 & everything else measured great and was working fine. Now I just get to deal with all of this pressure. She also explained to me that the pressure/kicks to the cervix area was causing the occasional old blood to expel. While I was there they checked my cervix, which was in perfect shape also, so tonight I'm dealing with the "freak out mode" from the little bit of blood from that check lol and the pressure/gas/bleh feeling BUT SO glad everything else was ok. THANKS FOR THE THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS! (let my say 'pressure' one more time )

Hmm. No experience with that at all- I would definitely call the doctor. FX everything is fine!

I had this in the beginning of my pregnancy and it was super worrisome and just made me feel like something was wrong. It lasted almost a month! The second time I had it it was only for two days or so and it cleared up. My doctor assured me that it was nothing to worry about and could just be from cervical changes or shedding of old cells. He also said as long as it's not bright red blood I was in the clear. Hope this helps. Fingers crossed for you!

I'm 20w1d and I had this Monday and Tuesday. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and she did a physical exam and vag culture. Turns out I had a bacterial infection and the only symptom was an irritated cervix that bled. By the time the little blood comes out it's brown. Call the doc.

I have had a brown tint to my discharge. It was more around week 15-16 and has basically stopped now. It wasn't really thick... I just noticed that my underwear/pantyliner were not white. I asked my Dr. about it and she said it was normal. Not sure if your discharge is the same as I had and I would still definitely be on the cautious side, but she said all was fine with mine.

I just had this exactly happen to me today! I was freaked out, called to the doctor, and she said nothing to worry about unless it kept happening. I'm still concerned but it has gone away and I have no other worrisome symptoms so I hope my baby is ok! And I hope you get a wonderful a/s today!

Looking forward to your update! I've have spotting/bleeding for over a week now... It's a terrible feeling when you're unsure as to the cause. Good luck today!
