Holy clothes!

My MIL loves to shop and buys stuff for my kids all the time which is fantastic and she finds the cutest stuff! She has been asking me what we need for clothes for this LO and I keep telling her I don't think we need any more clothes since I saved all of ds clothes. I started sorting all the clothes last night and making a spreadsheet of what we have (ya I'm a dork like that) and I am shocked and slightly overwhelmed at the amount of clothes we have. We have 29 short sleeve shirts in one size!!! We also have long sleeve shirts in that size as well.

    It's taken years for my MIL to start asking what we need instead of just buying everything she sees. So I feel you there .

    I'm impressed that you keep track! And yes, that's a lot of clothes, especially boy clothes!

    That sounds like my clothes from ds1...lol... I made a chart then too... I doubt I will this time unless out of curiosity..but I wanted another boy mainly so I didnt have to buy 2 wardrobes for 18 years! Lol

    I have a friend with 2 daughters older than my kiddo and she always gives me their hand-me-downs. At one point, I had 36 pairs of pants in size 2t. Crazy, but so thankful for the free stuff.

    I had the same issue, but I think we have some things missing...I have 15 short sleeved onesies in one size, and almost nothing in another size!!

    I made a spreadsheet too so that I could make a list of exactly what we need. I've sent it to the grands at their request, so they can buy what we need if they want! :)

    Thats a lot! I still need to go through DDs stuff.

    Its so nice that she actually gets stuff you need! My MIL buys DD a lot of stuff but shes also famous for buying a winter outfit for summer sizes or just not checking the size at all-especially in shoes. Its annoying sometimes but Im grateful for what she has given.
