Any of you burrito lovers here?

Okay so last night around the dinner table we were having a debate while eating soft tacos.

So...

What is the difference between a soft taco and a burrito?

    A burrito is bigger and wrapped on the sides. In our house we add rice to burrito's but not tacos.

    Ahhhh good my point in the debate is proven. They laughed at me for "eating my soft taco like a hard taco" and I said, that's what a soft taco is, they said I'm supposed to wrap it up and I said that would be a burrito!

    They seem to think burritos must have beans. Men and their craziness!

    Ok wait, now I do see beans in the burrito... Is it still a burrito if all the contents are the same as the taco but wrapped up like a burrito?

    I think a burrito has no openings until you bite it. A taco has an open top and ends. If you are eating in a Mexican restaurant the burrito could have a sauce on it.

    Now I do fold in one end of my soft taco to keep in the good stuff but I still call it a taco.

    I always see the difference as ... burritos=beans, tacos=meat. But I see I'm wrong.
