Healthy snacks!

I figured since most of us need to eat more often than not to help with the morning sickness   :-h  then we could start a thread with some healthy snacks that are easy!!

One of my go to snacks right now is yogurt with some granola and honey!  It hits my sweet tooth just right (too sweet isn't sitting well with me lately!) and usually I'll add some almonds for that extra good fats!

  • Fruit (esp cold grapes), almonds and string cheese are my usual snacks.
  • Cold grapes, apples with peanut butter and cheddar cheese bites.  that was actually my dinner last night :)

  • Peaches mmmm I'm been eating them like crazy!
    And rice cakes. Mmmm
    Quakers makes "Popped" which is just mini rice cake with different flavors. Bomb.

    And vanilla pudding :D
  • Rice cakes with pb, nectarines and raspberries!
  • Fruit definitely (cherries, blueberries, and bananas, oh my). Greek yogurt + aforementioned fruit + granola, granola bars, baby bell cheese and/or cheese sticks. Carrots or sugar snap peas in dip (unless you can actually tolerate the smell of hummus, that would be healthier). And the wonderful protein/vit D filled hard-boiled eggs :)
  • Smoothies, monster mix from target (prob not too healthy but yummy!), kashi granola bars, crackers & pb

  • Cherry tomatoes!
  • Bought a veggie party tray at costco, I figure we can eat veggies and dip for 2 days and then I can cook the broccoli that is leftover for dinner :)
  • May not be as healthy, but pineapple juice is what hits the spot for me.

    Also, cottage cheese, zucchini, and water. yes water is a constant snack for me.
  • Almonds in dates (take the date pit out n replace with almonds) , fruits (grapes, watermelon peaches etc)

    I've recently fallen in love with cucumber slices. So refreshing and surprisingly fruity!
  • I like dried prunes... Which bonus - helps with the constipation!

  • String cheese, pretzels, granola, almonds, sliced fruit, whole wheat toast, oatmeal, dark chocolate, plain yogurt with honey, crackers, spinach salads, apples with peanut butter......

    Apparently, I like to snack!
  • I thought we aren't suppose to have honey?
  • Red bell pepper with a small amount of ranch dressing
    Hummus and carrots
    Avocado with lemon juice and a dash of sea salt
    Any type of fruit, but lately I've been devouring large amounts of raspberries and blueberries
    Yogurt with Kashi Go Lean Crunch and honey
    Olives stuffed with roasted garlic (this isn't particularly healthy but darn it, I love them!)

    Raw honey is usually labeled as such, but not always. The stuff on the regular grocery store shelf is most likely not raw. If you aren't sure, you can contact the company and ask.

    All that being said, I eat local raw honey.
  • All the fruit, especially melons. Plain yogurt with lemon curd. Keifer. Rice cakes with cheese.

  • Fruit, veggies with hummus, Ezekiel bread (plain, cinnamon raisin, English muffins) with PB2 or better n peanut butter, string cheese, cottage cheese, etc. I snack more than eat full meals so I have a lot of this stuff stocked up!
