Urethra Pain

I called my DR today about this and didn't get a call back.... and I cant find any real answers online. I am due Saturday and for the last week at night (and most of the day today) I have had pains in my urethra, mostly when I pee. I haven't ever had kidney stones, but if I had to guess that feels like this. It feels like the baby is trying to come out there! I also have not ever had a UTI, but I have heard that is more like a burning pain and this is not that. Its lots of pressure. I would think it was just pressure from dropping but no one I know has experienced it before. I haven't had like any contractions (which is another not so awesome thing at this point..lol) just this pain. I have had lots of lightening crotch as well but this is more of a centralized pain. Anyone?

    My dr just called and said he put in a prescription for UTI. Im really not convinced thats what this is.

    I had pain like that in the beginning of my 2nd tri. I think I read somewhere that baby was hitting a nerve that caused it. It was not lightening crotch, not sciatica, but urethral pain. I was negative for UTI. It just kind of went away, I think as baby moved up.
