The Countdown Slowed Down

This whole pregnancy has been flying by! But all of a sudden it's seemed to slow way down. I think it's because I was feeling so great and all of a sudden the swelling has increased and energy has started to depleat. I'm just entering my 6th month but it feels like my seventh. Going to be a long 4 months since all the symptoms are going to do anything but decrease soon! Lol anyone else experiencing the slow down of time?

Re: The Countdown Slowed Down

  • It hasn't slowed down for me, but I am definitely lack in the energy department. I Feel like i have slowed down so much and I am just not used to that!

  • I am currently the opposite. My first 5 months dragged on for forever. The last two months have been much better but I know that this is not going to last much longer!
  • I don't feel like it's dragging but I am definitely worried of the worsening symptoms. I felt really great when I was pregnant with DS and pregnancy did not get hard until the last month. I now physically feel like I should be about 7 1/2 months pregnant and yet I still have 4 months to go. I am sure it will feel pretty long from here on out.

  • The first 20 weeks flew by, but ever since I learned I'm having twins, time has slowed to a crawl. I think it's the extra anxiety knowing that I need to be providing for the two of them. Which I know anxiety doesn't help, but it's hard not to worry! I have my next u/s on Thursday, so looking forward to some reassurance that they are both doing okay.

I never know if it is going slow or fast.  I feel like this:

WTF?  Only 23 weeks?  How is that possible?

WTF?  How do I only have 17 weeks left!  There is so much to do in that time!
That is me too!! But you know how loooooong those last 5 weeks are!
Oh god, September is going to be the longest month...ever in the history of ever (except for the January before DD was born!)

  • I feel like everything has slowed down after week 20. Im not trying to rush things but
I really want to get summer over with
  • I also feel like it's slowed down QUITE a bit recently. I'm at 21 weeks 1 day and the fact that I'm over halfway is still a bit scary/exciting, but now I feel like end of October feels sooooo faaarrrrr awayyyyy...even though I'm sure it'll get here quickly.

It's just a waiting game, I guess, in the long run. I still have so much to do and prepare, though, so I'm fine with it going by a little more slowly for now.

     It's a BOY! Est. Due Date - October 17th

  • I thought it crawled all the way to week 20. Now it's been going pretty steady for me. Thinking of all the stuff I need to get done! Ugh

  • Time is starting to drag for me too.  Just this week really, I think because we are kind of in a waiting period, since we just ordered furniture and it doesn't arrive for a bit.  There's just not much baby stuff I can do right now,

  • Time has slowed down over here.  After all of the early appointments with the RE, OB, and MFM, I have gotten used to all of the appointments and we are in a holding pattern until later in the summer regarding the nursery and buying stuff.

Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)

  • This pregnancy has gone super fast thus far for me. I can't believe I only have 4 months left. I feel like I just have so much going on right now, that not all my focus is on the baby, so that's probably why. When I was pregnant with my daughter, it was baby baby baby constant and it felt like an eternity.

  • Am I the only one who thinks it's flying by? First tri seemed to drag for me (probably because I was terrified the whole time, and felt like crap). Second tri seems to be zooming along. I can't believe I'm less than a month away from third tri!

Exactly this. 1st tri was the worst. Feeling like shit and constant worry over loss, etc. Now I can't believe I have 2 weeks until I'm in month 7 already!

  • I'm antsy to meet my little lady.
That being said, I'm completely unprepared.

Totally the same for me. All of this.

My OB said that subsequent pregnancies are MUCH harder and it's no wonder I'm feeling so crappy all the time. I'm not in as good of shape as I was when I was pregnant with DS and I think that makes a huge difference as well.

I struggled to get off the couch last night and it made me wonder how the F I was going to make it to October!

Yep! So much harder this time around!

  • Just the last few days have sucked...TMI but I had the runs yesterday, my back aches, my pants are uncomfortable, I just can't imagine 18 more weeks.

  • I feel like I was so excited and worried in the beginning that everything went slowly. I'm still excited, but don't feel so anxious all the time. It seems to be speeding up, yet October still feels so far away.
