TIRED. So tired. I also have brain fog.

I really wish I could tell what position the baby is in. I am a little obsessed with that question this week.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

Raves: DH finished painting the nursery, and we have the crib and changing table set up. It feels good to go in there and imagine baby being there.

I will post pics after I can get the decals on the wall - we have to let the paint cure for two weeks before we can do that.

QOTW: How are you beating the heat now that summer is almost here?

Drinking tons of water, walking first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening, hanging out in the A/C inside the house. I am trying to work up my nerve to go to the pool, too.

It is hotttt here! Luckily we live on Lake Erie so we are looking forward to swimming and boating but the lake is still cold...

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? I feel fine. I just found out I have GD, so that's a bummer. Definitely feeling overwhelmed and nervous about the whole thing.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Appointment next Friday. So we'll see what happens then!

How many weeks are you? 8w2d

What size is baby? Raspberry, I think.

2) Age at delivery? (optional) 37- just a couple of months shy of 38.

3) Any other children? Furbabies? I have a 3 year old daughter and 3 spoiled dogs.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? I feel like a giant bag of shit. Are people offended by the word shit on this board?

New this week is extreme gas/bloat and fire boobs. Pregnancy is sexy.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? We had our first u/s on Friday and got to see our little parasite plus a strong heart beat. NT/1st tri screening is scheduled for July 17.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? Pretty good, a little bloat

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? U/S July 7. Can pregnancy brain start this early? I left the lid off the gerbil cage and one got out. Still have not found it. Hoping food will lure it out in the middle of the night so we can get an idea of what part of the house it may be in. Sleep may prove evasive tonight.

On mobile so excuse the formatting! I'm 21 weeks today with our 4th DC. We are team green. I have to go back for a second anatomy scan because baby wasn't in a great spot for heart and kidney pictures so the Dr wants a better look. I'm still feeling great. DH got to feel LO kick on father's day so im looking forward to seeing and feeling more outside kicks! This summer I plan to stay cool in my swimming pool and the AC at work (we crank that puppy!) @2redtulips I can't wait to see your pictures it's been a while since we got to set up our nursery! @CoversationFear I had GD wuth my last PG it definitely gets easier to come to terms with once the dietitian helped me work out meal plans. In a few weeks you'll be a pro. The high risk board gave me tons of support and great snack/meal ideas. Have a great week ladies, JM

Nope

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week?
Not great - fatigue,nausea, sore boobs...and on Tues night I got a flu/bug! I think the worst is over - last took Tylenol at 1am and no return of fever (99.4 - 100.8). Still scratchy throat but will take that over a fever. So now I am worried about our little bean!

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

Our final u/s with the RE is on Jun 24th in the morning and then I have my first appt with the nurse-midwife in the afternoon. First OB appt is on the 9th.

Lots of water, staying indoors when I can and if walking outside stop in shops w a/c regularly

breaking out on my chin and shoulders, super smell, I'm an emotional roller coaster and cry at everything, nausea hasn't been too bad, but dizzy spells here and there...and tired, soo very tired.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? I feel. Enter this week. The doctor dropped me to one progesterone pill a day. Boobies still sore as can be and nausea is all there. But at least I am not throwing up.
5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Just had our second us and everything was great. Saw our ittle "blob" with a very strong heartbeat.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? I just got relief today, sorry tmi, from constipation. I am not sure how long that will last. I was suffering and bloated so researched online. I saw drinking hot liquids helped and drank three glasses of hot decaf tea. So happy. But I am still getting winded easy and over the last couple of weeks have been experiencing sharp lower back pain. I guess it could be sciatica (spelling?) but it is not shooting down my leg. I had a hard time sitting at work friday and took a walk. It didn't help much.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I have an appt with my hernia surgeon this week which makes me nervous. I had hernia surgery 5-6 years ago and I have bump where the surgery was at. I was told it was fluid a few years ago but it never went away. (I know should have gone back sooner) But now I am pregnant my ob is concerned. So hopefully it is only fluid and not reoccurred. I have no pain at the site so I really think it is fluid. Believe me you would know you have a hernia, the pain is extreme and awful. Wish me luck. My next ob appt is the following week so at least I should have answers.

QOTW: How are you beating the heat now that summer is almost here? Like some have said I am staying indoors. We do have a pool and I am thinking of taking advantage of that this week. Also, walking on the treadmill inside for exercise. I can't wait to get back to the exercising.
