i say sleeping past a certain time. I say 7am is my sttn hr. anything before that is too early for me and he needs to go back to sleep...which sometimes doesn't happen.
If he sleeps through from when I put him down until when the sun comes up, I call that STTN. If he wakes up to nurse and the sun is up (around 6am these days) he will not go backdown.

yup, he got up at 6 this morning and didn't go back to sleep. he had 8 hrs sleep, which is good, but he doesn't always make up the rest with naps either. That's why I wish he would go back to sleep!

This. If he sleeps from when we put him down - which is 7:30ish for us-until 6am or later without waking up screaming it is STTN in my book.
If I don't have to go back to sleep after I feed him, he slept through the night. He goes down at 7 and normally wakes at 5-530 to eat, then back down til 7-8am. I consider that STTN in my book.
Re: CPW: what do you consider
LO goes to bed between 730 and 8.... when she sleeps until at least 5 am I would consider that getting our full night's sleep.
