How do you know when LO doesnt feel well?

DH is sick. I am not, but it hit him fast & hard. This all started last night. Well today LO is lethargic and cried like she was hurting/pain, like when she got her shots. She doesn't have a fever but are there other cues/signs LO is sick?

I called the pediatrician she's going in this afternoon. I had no idea latching problems were related to ear/throat issues. She's sleeping more than usual which was my first clue, second was the painful scream. I didn't know if there were other things I should have seen/noticed. Thanks!

Is she still wetting the same amount if diapers? My dd is sick and that and sleeping more than normal were her only noticeable symptoms until the pedi checked the back of her throat. That's the only other thing ican think of

Basically, as the other ladies have said, if your LO is acting differently at all, then she probably doesn't feel well. She may just have a mild cold, but that's still enough to make someone feel crappy. I hope she's better soon.

Went to the pediatrician...no visible signs of what could be wrong but she has a fever of 101.6. So urine test, nasal and throat cultures and blood work

its been a rough afternoon. She seems to be wetting and pooping fine, but sleeping constantly.

So sorry. This happened to DD1 when she was 7 weeks old. (On mobile so not sure how old your LO is). She was in the hospital though due to her fever and no apparent sign why. It was terrible. All those tests are so hard to watch. Keep us posted on how she's doing.
