Intro/ SCH info wanted

Hi ladies, I posted this on SAIF.. Looking forward to getting to know you all..
Yesterday at 5 weeks 3 days, I started spotting. Brown for awhile, and then right before bed I had a gush of bright red. Scared me so badly. DH and I went to the RE and had a an ultrasound done this morning and was diagnosed with have SCH. He didn't put me on bedrest, but wants weekly ultrasounds. He said 3 out of 5 of his patients go on to have healthy babies.
I've been googling all day and I'm terrified. My spotting has slowed down significantly, and is a rust brown color mainly just when I wipe. Since this started so early in this pregnancy does that mean I'll miscarry? How long do these take to resolve? Personal success stores would be appreciated.

    Thank you so much @chmwilliams‌. Yea I was surprised my RE said I could go about things normally. Although I have two toddlers I have scaled back on how I play with them and am no longer picking them up. Once DH comes home from work Ive told him to take over with the kids so I can lay down. Even though my RE hasn't put me on bedrest I see no harm in trying to enforce it for my own peace of mind. I hope I'm as lucky as you with this pregnancy. Thank you again.

    My SCH was found at my 8.5 week dating ultrasound. I wasnt put on any type of pelvic rest but the NP said I might experience a gush of blood in the coming weeks and that was perfectly fine. She never mentioned anything about miscarriage. I never saw one ounce of blood though. I'm now 33.5 weeks and I honestly don't even know if I still have the SCH. I forgot all about it. So, please don't worry yourself. You will probably go on to have a very healthy pregnancy. Good luck!

    April 2017 - IUI #2 - Clomid, Ovidrel - BFN
    May 2017 - IUI #3 - Clomid- cancelled cycle

    July 2017- IVF #1-Microdose Lupron protocol, Gonal-F, Menopur, HCG trigger- 12 mature eggs, 9 fertilized, 4 frozen- 2 PGS normal!!

    August 2017- FET #1

    Thank you all so much ladies. I shouldn't have come home and gone to google for learning more, it scared me silly. Thank you for all you personal experiences, I learned so much more from them... And feel better about SCH.
    Wanted to add a question, I'm sorry if it's dumb... It seems like some people bleed, and some don't that have SCH. My bleed has slowed down a lot since my big bleed Sunday, to not even always when I wipe.. I know from reading it can stop and come back sporadically.. But I guess what I'm trying to get at, probably not bleeding is better than bleeding? Since it could be a sign that it's resolving?

    Thank you @AnotherDreamer‌. The spotting did end up going away completely (at least for now). Can you tell me, my RE on Monday didn't put me on any sort of bed rest or pelvic rest, but I have been laying down gUzzling water as much as possible with two toddlers. Since my spotting has stopped for now, should I continue the bed rest and pelvic rest until it's completely resolved? I in no way want to bring the bleeding back on, just don't really know what I should be doing!
