So I'm leaving the valley tomorrow morning and going camping in Big Sur with my parents since DH is away. The last time we went camping we went to our usual spot here in Mineral King, and well with morning sickness and a toddler it was pretty miserable. But it got me thinking since a lot of us will be going camping and or making summer trips, what do you feel is essential for camping and road tripping with kids?
Re: Camping
Does anyone bring a seat for baby, like a bouncer or something? And what about sleeping? I don't really want to bring a PnP but torn between hauling the Moses basket there and just sleeping with him. Toddler has his own sleeping bag.

Extra clothes/layers is good plan. I'd rather have more than less for sure!
