Dang I am needy lately! It has been a roller coaster ride here at the megaroo house!

We had to make the gut-wrenching decision this morning to put our dog Maddie to sleep. She had been getting progressively sicker for a little while, and quit eating and drinking this weekend. We took her in this morning hoping for the best, but the vet suspected it was something with her spleen and was not even confident she would survive the tests to find out what was wrong.

My H had Maddie for 13 years- so we are beyond upset about this. It is horrible to make the choice even though we know it was the right thing to do.

Eh! I'm so sorry I'm a downer!!

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  My parent's dog, Maggie, died last Monday so she will show Maddie the ropes in doggy heaven.

    Thank you ladies so much.

    And I swear- when it rains it pours. I just got a text from my dad (a fucking text! What a douche) that my childhood dog passed away this morning as well. I just want to go back to yesterday when we were just thrilled about no cancer...

    Thanks, Katie! He sent a group text to me and my four siblings. A little cold if you ask me.
