Anti Aging Creams

Anyone have any reccomendations? I figure 28 is as good a time as any to start.

Thanks!

Re: Anti Aging Creams

  • I am kind of a product junkie and have tried tons of different creams, but always come back to Elizabeth Arden products. I love her serum in capsules.

  • For eye creams, I love Kiehl's, particularly the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream.

  • I like an eye cream; a lotion seems like it would be too runny to use near the eye.

  • I agree with all the Retin-A love, TOTALLY going back on that after I'm done having kids even if I have to buy it on the black market!

No that's for the big one. If i feel like splurging I also get the eye concentrate. It's amazing!

I used to use the Bliss anti aging creams but then a couple years ago I read that coconut oil is a great for anti aging. I've been using it daily as a face cream since and my skin has never been this healthy before. It's much clearer, softer, and I get way less zits than before. I buy the organic kind from the grocery store, it lasts forever!
  • I've also heard good things about coconut oil, but have never tried it. My only reservation about wearing it during the day is there is no sun block in there and the sun does age and damage your skin. So don't forget the sun block if you go that route

@zyas: I have some coconut oil I could start using but I'm terrified. Since it's an oil won't it make me break out? How much do you use? Do you just put a small amount on and let it sit all night? I can imagine my pillow would get super greasy and my dog would be trying to make out with me all night long.

I just use a little and rub it all over my face including my eyelids and all around my eyes. By the time i get into bed it's pretty well absorbed already so I've never had an issue with it getting on my pillow. Also. 2 of my dogs sleep beside me and not once have they tried to lick my face :)

I put it on in the morning too and I wear it under any sunscreen/makeup. It works good as a primer too!
  • @summergirl - I had sensitive skin and I loved the clinique product line for sensitive skin. They have cleanser, moisturizer and other stuff and I my redness went away completely when I was using it.

Ladies, I used some coconut oil last night and this morning and it's so amazing! My dog left me alone (I was shocked!) and my face is so soft and moisturized! I love it. :)

I was going to post and ask how you liked it :) you can also use it as an all over body moisturizer. I use it on Ava all the time and I even use it on some of our animals if they have dry or itchy patches of skin. It's amazing stuff!

I used which is non-irritating gel serum with a powerful anti-aging combination of ferulic acid and retinol to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on face and also to brighten the eye area....
