I was wondering what is your DC favorite lovey/stuffed animal/security item, when did they become attached to it and when did they start sleeping with it?
It's still early for Nicholas (I think), but when I feed him before going to bed/nap he always searches out and grabs hold of my finger which makes me think he's going to need something as a security item. We have a little cat that sits on the changing table that I give him to hold onto and he 'hugs and kisses' that with such fierceness that I'm guessing Pursley might become his go to guy.

DD started using her little blanket around 6 months. The only time she uses it though is for naps and bedtime. I try don't give it to her other times during the day as I don't want her to rely on it like my niece who carries hers around everywhere she goes.
We have this blanket. It was a gift. I never would have paid this price for it, but she loves it.

Maggie has a blankie with a stuffed animal head on it that she likes but she has never really attached to anything very strongly. I probably started putting it in her crib around 9 months and she now likes it but not like my niece who LOVES her soft blankie and simply HAS to have it for nap time and bedtime.
I would suggest that if he does attach to something get multiples asap. I just went to try and find an extra blankie for maggie and they stopped making them.
