Varicose Viens, anyone?

So, I was clearing the table from dinner this evening, wearing no pants (because no pants are the best pants), when my husband asked me what was wrong with my leg. I was very confused, and a little concerned when I looked down and realized that I have my first ever varicose vien. It was big and bulging and blue, and thankfully went away after putting my feet up for a little bit. Anyone else on the varicose train? Or am I the sole passenger?

    Yep. Got them with my son, they had almost gone back to normal, but came back with a vengeance pretty quickly with this baby. Mainly just one area on the side of my knee.

    Once I'm done with baby-making (we are undecided if there will be a baby #3), I'm going to see what can be done about them like laser treatment or something.

    I have 2 from DS, but they aren't super big or bulging anymore. I'm sure they'll pop out again when I'm further along with this little guy.

    My mother had hers removed by laser and they did a fantastic job! She had them bad too.

    I got them really bad with DD and they faded but never fully went away....and NOW they're back and hurting like heck. I'm already planning on checking out treatment options after this baby is born!!

    I have one from DD...I hate it!! I call it my Riley vein. Lol. Want to get it talent are of once done with kids. Hoping I don't get any with little peanut!

    I don't have any varicose veins yet, bit I do have a lot of spider veins. They started before I was even pregnant. My mom, as well as many other women in my family, have always had problems with spider veins and varicose veins. It's in my genes to have to deal with it.
