A long time ago, I had meatballs at a party that had grape jelly and (I think) ketchup) in the sauce. Sounds gross but it was so good! I want to make them tonight- does anybody have a recipe?
My best freind makes these and she uses equal parts grape jelly and Hintz chili sauce. I'm not sure the measurements. I guess it would depend on how many meatballs and how saucy you like them. They are delicious!
I'm hungry already so I zoomed in on this food post!
Also...my husband buys the frozen meatballs and puts them in the crockpot with tons of BBQ sauce and lets them cook in there...and they're FABULOUS. It sounds simple, but everyone always LOVES them. If you can't find the recipe you're looking for...try the BBQ instead!
Actually I have some that are like that int he crock pot right now!! I use frozen meatballs and grape jelly to start with until the jelly liquesfies. Then I add a can of Hunts meat spachetti sauce, lil smokies, and some jarred sweet pepper strips and cook in crock pot until heated through stirring occasionally. They are always a huge hit!!! GL!

It's the same recipe that is often used on cocktail weenies...so if you could find one for that...it'd be the same. Here's what I found https://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,191,152188-250204,00.html
