Friends,

39 Week 4 days today.

Gestational Diabetes and Hypothyroidism

Heading to L&D now (almost midnight now, had to wait as the L&D had a busy evening) , my Gyn wants to start induction. 2 days ago my cervix was 1 .5 CM dilated. my Gyn wanted me to go for induction because of GD and Hypothyroidism

Need wishes and prayers :-)

Good luck! Don't feel any pressure to respond to my question since I'm sure you're very busy, but I was just wondering why they would induce due to hypothyroidism? I've had hypothyroidism for years (I take synthroid and it's been under control this whole pregnancy) and my doctor hasn't mentioned inducing for that or any other reason. Now I'm 1 day overdue, wondering is there a correlation?
