Dark green poop suddenly - diet trial fail?

I started a TED a few weeks ago and have also been managing oversupply. I have been slowly adding foods back in. His poops have finally been normal the past week - yellow and seedy instead of green and mucusy. His demeanor is totally improved as well. All of the sudden today his poops are *dark* green. The change was really abrupt. They smell fine and are not explosive. I know this can be associated with iron supplements but I haven't taken any. I did wat wheat by accident yesterday - could that be it?? When you eat something that LO is intolerant of, what happens?

could be the wheat, you could try waiting a week and eat it again and see if you get a repeat.  Some people swear they get dark green poop when they eat a lot of spinich or lettuce, but that's just silly, cause the leafs do not go out thru the milk.  lol!  If you wait a while to change a poop diaper, it can also turn green, was that it maybe?

It's funny that you say that about leafy greens, as I did eat a lot of kale yesterday! Definitely not from waiting to change the diaper. It is really dark! I was worried that some of it was digested blood but I smeared it around and it's definitely dark green, not red. Crazy that it would change to that from bright mustard yellow overnight. He still seems happy without the constant fussing we had when I was eating something that didn't work for him. I also just fended off mastitis without antibiotics but don't see how that could be related.
