dairy, egg, tree nut, almond, coconut and peanuts allergy

My son just turn one and I'm having much difficult making him foods. Anyone have some good recipes? Please help! His drinking neocate in place of milk but that's costly. We don't want to put him on soy because of all the long term side effects. His allergic to dairy, eggs and all nuts. IM just desperate for some insight. His already a picker eater and the transition from puree's to food is hard enough.

Yikes! You have a lot to deal with!

I suggest the website www.ohsheglows.com.  It's a vegan website (so no eggs/dairy), and she includes a lot of nut-free and grain-free options for things.  I love a lot of her recipes...good luck!

    Another good website is godairyfree.com.

You'll find many recipes there that are free of nuts as well as many vegan options, which will be free of eggs. Of course, they are all free of dairy.

I usually just lurk but my DS has the same allergies as well as wheat. We give him rice milk and haven't had any issues with that. We do a lot of meats because that is what he likes. Also fresh fruit, rice, potatoes (regular and sweet). I don't do a lot of recipes for him because it is hard. I agree with the others with the websites above, especially godairyfree.com. They have a great list of dairy ingredients to check on foods you buy to make sure you aren't missing hidden dairy ingredients.

Someone mentioned hummus and DS had a bad reaction to that. Since it is chickpeas and a legume many with peanut allergies may also react. Just FYI because I never thought of that until he reacted.

Best of luck to you! I know it can be so hard some days but know you are doing the best for your son.
