Is your stomach hard?

Not just where your uterus is, but your entire stomach? My stomach is solid from right under my boobs down to my pelvic area. I know the whole thing isn't my uterus, that's stops around my belly button area, but I don't know what it is. I'm not a tiny or skinny person either so I'm not sure why my entire stomach is rock solid when the baby isnt there yet.

I've got tons of extra fluff and I'm a shorty, but mines pretty hard, dh even commented. I told him it was my abs of steel

) but I really think mines mostly poop/gas plus the combination of my uterus pushing upward & compressing everything.

20 weeks...my stomach has been like this since 15 weeks. I seriously look like I'm carrying a baby in my ribs! Lol

I was thinking the same thing...maybe everything else is just compressed up high since baby has moved in.

I'm tall, long torsoed and not particularly plump and my stomach isn't hard at all! This post makes me feel flabby :-)

My stomach is hard, and like you, it starts under my boobs. It's like a weird shelf, is the best way I can describe it, haha. My love handles, on the other hand, are not hard. :-/

Yep my whole belly is hard. It was the same with my first. I have a short torso so i think it's just the way i carry. Very round and tight.

Right below my breasts is hard as well. I swear it sticks out more than my lower stomach so I have a B belly going on. I just want to "pop" already!

I have a hard stomach too! Sometimes it let's up but there are a lot of times the whole thing is hard.

Mines hard. Been that way for a while. I look pretty big. I have no control over it. My torso is short and I'm short! I have heartburn all the time. At least the burning in the back of my throat. I'm over being pregnant already. Come on November!!!!!!!!

I had that earlier on. But I also had gas and an insane amount of nausea to go with it. I found out if I don't drink as much skim milk and don't consume too much dairy my bloat and nausea went down quite a bit! Also, staying away from the cheeseburgers/other greasy foods has helped!

the title of this thread made me giggle (yes, I am a teenage boy...)

my tummy is mostly squishy. occasionally I have a hard spot, where I assume baby is chilling, but for the most part, it's all fluffy (leftover from last pregnancy)

I just posted this a couple weeks ago, it was rock hard and was followed with lots of indigestion/heart burn. That's where our stomach is now...

It's totally normal.

(added) - and I don't know how far along you are but I feel better now and my lower stomach kind of rounded out while I was going through that.

Girrrrl I am so with you. I am pretty sure it's just organs all squished up there but I was so surprised when that started happening.

@silverwings72 a B belly..that is def the best way to describe it lol.. I have the same thing..like right around my belly button area it goes in and then come out again..I'm walking around with two bellies lol..I just want one nice round one haha.

And yes my stomach is hard too, it's been like that for awhile...But like other PP's I'm on the short side and have a very short torso as well.
